A little statistical reality for all you corona Nazis

As of this moment there are 9,458 confirmed deaths (disclaimer: I'm certain that number is padded). There are also 3,141 counties in this great big, beautiful country of ours. That translates to 3 deaths per county. 3.01 to be precise.
In my county that translates to 1 death per hospital. ONE! And that number goes back 11 weeks. 1 death per hospital in 11 weeks (disclaimer: there have actually only been 3 deaths in my county). It is pure insanity to shutter an entire nation over the overhyped, slanted computer modeling.
Even if you are alarmed by the number of confirmed cases, of which the majority aren't deemed critical/serious there are 331,234 cases. Which translated to 105.45 per county. And once again applying that to my county, that would mean 35 cases per hospital over 11 weeks. And the majority of them haven't required hospitalization.
I would be willing to bet there have been more heart attacks/strokes over that same span of time. Neither of which were ever a danger of overwhelming our hospitals.

Well. Go make the call to open it up.
Let us know how it goes.

Just a reminder of how they are reporting numbers...if you have it, or had symptoms (no confirmed test needed) and happen to die...
You are 1 of the 9000 dead

The coronials just don’t want to go to work. Simple as that.

Unfortunately, the number of deaths is going to rise pretty significantly over the next 10-14 days. We’re probably looking at 3,000 deaths per day in around 10 days.
That’s also a statistical reality.

If they died from Heart Attack or Stroke...and you happen to have symptoms of the rona...
You died of the rona

And for this we are not even supposed to go the grocery store anymore.

But just one death is too many! in fact, Dr. Doomsday takes it a step further and says we have to maintain social distancing until there isn't a single new positive test.

To be fair, it cuts both ways. There are people who died from COVID19 that have been attributed to other causes.
I think we need more time to get the real numbers.
To your point though, the lack of overwhelmed hospitals is a good sign.

I remember when you retards were cackling a month ago about how no one had died yet...

We’ve been quarantined for 3 weeks already. It is having a major effect on numbers.
Posted on 4/5/20 at 6:49 pm to League Champs
Of course the other side can point out that you are proving that all of the extreme social distancing measures have worked based on your statistics. We don’t know what the numbers would have been do we?

They don’t care. Nurse Karen on Facebook posted a pic of herself with a mask and said shut it all down.

We’re very happy that you aren’t in charge.
You. Clearly you have a have a point of view that colors your analysis and inevitably leads to a foregone conclusion. I think the medical professionals are using their best judgment.
Being rational, I don’t buy into most of the conspiracy bullshite that’s tossed around here.

~7,700 Americans on average die every day
This virus has killed a mere 1 days worth of average deaths thus far.

That translates to 3 deaths per county. 3.01 to be precise.
If the increase in deaths maintained the same rate as the previous 4 weeks (24.25% daily; and Sunday’s figures aren’t final) over the next 4 weeks, we would be looking at 1338.1 deaths per county. And even if we managed to half that growth (12.1% daily) we would be looking at 73.5 deaths per county.

2017/18 influenza deaths had 50,000+ American deaths by this time in the flu season.

While the CFR is going to come out extremely low on this Covid-19 Pandemic if it doesn’t mutate to something worse. It’s now jumping to animals again which is extremely concerning. The overall idea of the shutdown was never the death rate. It was solely due to overwhelming the healthcare system. Period! That would cause extreme amounts of unnecessary death. Basically people wouldn’t be dying of the virus per say they would be dying from the lack of any reasonable healthcare.
