Atlanta Police have begun enforcing stay at home orders by breaking up groups, verbally enforcing social distance, and stopping and questioning people about their purpose for being outside in public. Police were openly filmed enforcing the order in parks, on the Beltline, and on streets beginning yesterday and continuing today.
People have begun tweeting and FB posting that they were stopped and questioned by police before being instructed to disperse and go home.
Right now, police are simply instructing people and there have been no altercations. When asked what would happen if someone refused to comply with police instructions, a spokeswoman said that they don’t want to think about that but police have authority to make arrests for disorderly conduct.
Just now on local cbs News Atlanta 1046.
Gov Kemp’s statewide stay at home order goes into effect in less than one hour.

So we released criminals, so that we could create more criminals to take their place in prisons?
I thought the only way to stem the tide of covid-19 was to release prisoners

None of this is legally enforceable. It’s a banana republic at this point.

I'd like to see what happens if 100,000 people flash mobbed outside.

Have the brown shirts started high stepping in column formation yet? That is surely on their fantasy list.

Lafayette won't book criminals but they want to break up basketball games and crawfish boils. Ain't this something ?

eh, I wouldn't say that. In TN there are statutes that make violations of executive orders a class A misdemeanor. That's not exactly something I'd take my chances on.

At some point a riot might be a good thing, as it would send the message that these shutdowns can't go on indefinitely.

What parts of town are they patrolling for this? I'm guessing it's probably not the hood.

Those people are already completely dependent on the government.

Yep.
I don't think it will come to that, though.

Well, they know they can't enforce this shite in the ghetto so they're going to terrorize the soccer moms walking their kids in the upper middle class areas of town

Law enforcement appears to be dutifully enforcing orders that violate multiple Constitutional rights. But don’t worry - law enforcement has our back regarding the Second Amendment! Libs are in for a rude awakening!!!

All of them would tragically die if Corona.

Only a matter of time before people are done with this shite. Unless we’ve become cucked as a nation.
