Infectious Disease Specialist: "This is the beginning of the end of the pandemic"

What makes him believe this you ask? The Hydroxychloroquine/Azithromycin drug cocktail that is preventing nearly all patients from being intubated..
This is great news but, we need to act now.

This is a board certified Infectious Disease specialist who is now on record calling #TrumpPills a "game changer." His data has lined up to what they are seeing from French studies and Dr. Zelenko.
There needs to be mass treatment in the outpatient setting RIGHT NOW like Italy is doing. The defense act needs to focus on all pharma companies producing these two drugs immediately

Of course treatments can be developed, but there is simply no robust evidence to support the following statement:
There are currently placebo controlled double blind studies underway that will begin to show if this combo is effective or not. Until those results come in, it's just speculation and grasping at straws.

Anecdotes, pundits, hype, Trump, golden credentials. None of it means a goddamned thing without a large placebo controlled double blind study. Any serious scientist, doctor, or person with common sense knows that.
