Great news! Homeopathic remedies cure COVID-19! The pandemic is over!

These aren't homeopathic remedies. These are pharmaceuticals which have mechanisms of action that have been proven with in vitro studies to slow viral replication

Some of these patients in the hospital have been taking them, and now they are 100% recovered!

That's where you're wrong. These need to be administered as quickly as possible to prevent unnecessary hospitalizations. It's not a drug to be given as a last resort when you have ARDS and on the vent.

Anyone who questions this or wants to see evidence is just being negative and hates TRUMP!

It's not that we don't.. We just dont have time to wait for a year long test for drugs we know are safe. There's already available information about the safety profiles of these drugs that show cardiac side effects are really, really rare and can be prevented entirely with an ECG before prescribing the drugs. Not to mention most side effects from the drug occur with chronic use. Not from a 14 day dose..

It is insane just how much credibility that network has lost.

Thought it might be interesting news, clicked the link, immediately closed it because that network is a farce.

Bottom line: I don't need a year long study, while thousands of people die each day and millions more lose their jobs, to tell me we should be using these drugs.

If high blood pressure was contagious to the point it caused a global pandemic killing thousands of people each day, I would be screaming to the rooftops to manufacture more lisinopril

Hang on a minute, are you trying to credit Obama's administration with coming up with an entirely new political ploy that NO ONE had ever thought of and used before?

The main reason you are not seeing the immediate impact in NYC or in other places is because the protocols are completely arse backwards. They aren’t being prescribed as a treatment until a patient is in serious condition(ICU) or about to be/currently intubated and in a lot of cases by then it may be too late. If a uniformed protocol of immediate prescription at the onset of symptoms, whether or not hospitalization is required the so called “game changer” is a real possibility. Even with moderate success we will definitely flatten the curve in shortening the duration of exposure to existing patients and free up desperately needed beds & ventilators. There is a large percentage of physicians with impeccable credentials that want to use all available tools at their disposal w/o the bureaucratic red tape of the FDA or politics of the naysayers. The FDA has shown amazing leniency in loosening decades old regulations, particularly in possible effective therapies. If it were you or loved ones would you be as biased in your opinion, if you look at history Curie, Pasteur, and countless others were mocked by the establishment for their crazy, non-double blind studies as well. It’s the proverbial adage that Speed Kills & that goes both directions...the Chinese Virus has not afforded us that luxury.

While this would be great, since it is coming from Fox (i'd say the same if it was coming from CNN), I will take it with a grain of salt.

Anyone who think either one of these networks are reliable news sources should reevaluate how you interpret news.

I get it's on Fox News but, that's a medical doctor who completed a three year fellowship in infectious disease along with twenty extra years of experience..

That's credible enough for me no matter what news station he is on

Yeah it's never a bad idea to look at mistakes mad during a crisis and then fix them. I guess you when you make mistakes you don't learn from them.

Who said they came up with it? At this point I’m surprised they’ve not burned down the Capital building and blamed Trump for starting the fire.

Does it make it alright with you if they’re not the ones who first came up with the practice?

I understand. But it was an infectious disease specialist with a medical degree who made the claims, not Sean Hannity

That's my point exactly.

The fact that he decided to go on that network makes me think that he isn't that credible. Not dismissing it completely, but until it starts popping up as a headline on CNN, Yahoo, google news, local networks, reddit, local papers it won't be real to me. If it stays on Fox News I'll understand that it stayed there for a reason.

The entire network has shifted to guilty until proven innocent.
