Its bizarre how some drama queens refuse to accept any outcome but the worst possible, and get upset at any deviation from it.

I don't know what tree you think you're barking up Nancy, but you're way off on this one.

Yeah. Just like the evidence in the OP. All anecdotal. This was your chance. Your ONLY chance in your pathetic existence to finally get OMB.

And it seems to have fallen on your face...

Again....

I think they're more skeptical than anything else. I certainly hope actual doctors like the infectious disease specialist in the interview, Dr. Smith are doing their due diligence to see if this medication can work effectively in the outpatient setting.

There is just too much information out there to simply ignore other countries using this widely for COVID treatment when thousands are dying daily and the risk of dying from the medication itself happens for every 1 in 10,000 people.

It's a much better option than waiting til September just to START testing a vaccine that won't manufactured to the public until fall 2021.

You need to pay better attention if you think I'm pro-government of any sort.

No need to when you think we shouldn’t be using these drugs due to “anecdotal” evidence. I know all about you after that.

Op has started six threads over the past week about this. All I'm saying is pump the brakes.

Less than one thread a day about a potential solution to this global catastrophe, especially if each one is citing a new piece of information hardly seems worth noticing, much less calling out continuously in a thread. Tell me more about these chill pills...

There are currently placebo controlled double blind studies underway that will begin to show if this combo is effective or not. Until those results come in, it's just speculation and grasping at straws.

I just want to make sure I'm understanding you right here. You're suggesting that the combination of drugs could be placebo? As in, people falsely feel better but also don't have to intubated and are cured? If that's not the case, what is the purpose of a double blind study?

This is a problem with the medical community with this sort of outbreak. There is a standard that medical treatments have to follow in order to become approved and time is a piece of the puzzle that isn't readily available at this point.

This isn't something affecting a small part of the population. It's affecting a ton of people. If something is working, and the drugs have been used very commonly and we know the long term ramifications of using these drugs, the risk is nominal. Roll with it.

Especially when the mortality rate is skyrocketing each and every day. I cannot stress it enough that PEOPLE ARE DYING. Why is it frowned upon to look for solutions?

I'm not going to apologize for reporting new information like this news brief about a study from China that supports HCQ could shorten the recovery time in hospitalized patients

Yes, shockingly, people DO in fact recover from all sorts of things without medication.

Are you fricking serious?

Calm the frick down Mary.

Looking for solutions is fine and should be done. Rushing to use something that is completely anecdotal and hail it as a cure-all known as "TrumpPills" is just stupid.

Oktiger we’ve already covered this. Those are garbage studies by any objective metric.
