She’s technically not employed, but one of the biggest problems with the show has always been major plot holes or the ridiculous amount of suspension of disbelief required.

Last nights episode for example- how the hell did she just stroll on to the military base ?

I would think Bagram would have good security.

Looked like she was sneaking out of high school through a side door.

Also I’ve gone back and forth on whether Claire Danes is hot or not for most of my life.

I've settled on she's hot until she does that cry face. Then I'm out. Also, the bipolar hits close to home for some women I've known.

Yea she can make an ugly cry face.

She captivated me as Juliet back in the day.

Another great episode. Loved the flashbacks to East Berlin in the 80s. Carrie...and the US...is in a real pickle here.

I’m thoroughly enjoying this show.

Love this show but how is someone, especially a professional spy, accused of those crimes, able to walk free after arraignment (and make contact with a witness).

Yes it is doubtful.

We can suppose it is a possibility either through Saul or her attorney. You might be surprised what some people in government can get away with. In some cases, it really is all about who you know and who they know.

I was tasked once, for example, to get a judge to sign off on an inmate release because of my professional relationship with the judge.

But yeah, here she was charged with being complicit in the murder of the President.

This season has been wonderful and back to basics

I don’t know how the hell they are going to wrap up everything in 60 minutes

Last night was what made this show must watch for me.

All of the complaints I've read about this show over the years were understandable. I shared many of them.

But, ultimately, last night is why I haven't missed an episode since Damien Lewis' last 2 seasons.

Next week isn't the finale, is it?

Out on bond is stupid for someone accused of successfully conspiring to kill the POTUS, a foreign leader and two Helos full of American soldiers

Why would the secret notes still be in the books in Saul’s house? Seems odd

So will she betray Saul or won't she--the final question.
Will she somehow sacrifice herself in the end to protect Saul and the Kremlin asset?
Will we hear or see anything this season about her child Franny or her annoying sister?
Will Yevgeny survive?

These are my questions going in to the series finale next week. I'm so sorry to see this show end.

I didn't see where the secret notes were still there, just the space between the binder and cover.

The obvious ending is that Saul dies to save his/our asset.

This will mean that Carrie must die too, b/c Yevgeny would still require to know the asset from her.

The recent, young CIA woman will become the asset's handler.

Not sure how we get the black box prior to the asset being revealed though.

Lol Carrie and Saul aren’t dying next week. Major props to you if you’re right but highly doubt it

Also, in regards to Carrie being detained, they did go out of their way to show how much influence Saul had in getting her out, in addition to the young CIA protégé not collaborating yet on any of the details

I actually think that you are underestimating these writers here.

They have killed off major characters EVERY season, and recently offed 2 Presidents.
