These people want a government handout and to not have to pay rent? What happened to having savings?

Bunch of socialists.

ETA: not to mention collecting unemployment

I had a few call me and tell me to put something in writing saying they didn’t have to pay rent.

They did not like my answer

They are children who want life handed to them without hard work.

I’d probably prefer to extend a few mouths deferred with a good resident than have to find another one in this market

I’m not happy with just my $3400 stimulus and the 600 they’re adding to my unemployment. I think they should also assist my mortgage payments and maybe forgive my SBA Katrina loan that I still owe about 3,000 on.

That’s what either your job or the four freaking months of unemployment is for.

I saw a movie about this once where they both reached an agreement.

That’s why these people have no money. If you #buyrelief you can save thousands in the long run.

Some of them just want something that’s comparable to the mortgage relief some people are getting.

I should be held to the same standard as F500 corporations, which is... not high.

Well, ignore for a minute the fact that our government policies have absolutely eroded our middle class and their ability to save money..

Considering that government is closing everything and thereby causing people to lose their jobs & income, then it's only right that the government give them money to repay them for the damage done.

These are extenuating circumstances. This isn't people businesses closing because they want to or people not working because they're lazy

This is something I am actually really worried about. I own 50 apartments. I have a sneaking suspension come next Wednesday, there's gonna be a lot of excuses.

It's a good chance the slumlord won't have to make his payment to the bank of the rental unit he owns.

That may help somewhat.

If companies don't have to have savings + get a government handout then why shouldn't renters?
