I sprayed the Atrazine/Weed Free Zone/Sticker cocktail last Saturday with pretty good results... however when I mowed today, I found some areas where it didn't do the job well enough

I have a new bottle of MSM and I still have enough for the cocktail mix... temps are rising and I'm concerned about doing damage

What y'all got??

Also, what is the mix rate for MSM/1000?? I read the entire booklet, and only found per acre... and i suck at math

At this point I would do barricade and msm. What brand of msm did you buy and I’ll do you mix rate

It's by weight but there are some conversions. I think it's like 0.1tsp per gallon. A pretty small amount. I would mix it up and spot spray. It doesn't go bad after mixed so you can probably have some to repeat.

I’ll do the math tomorrow but your backpack should have come with a fan tip sprayer. That is the one you will need. It will spray at .67 gallons per minute. That’s the calculation I’ll use to figure out the mix rate.

1/8 teaspoon per 1 or 2 gal of water per 1000 sq ft. Add a couple tsp of surfactant.

Here is a link from another thread LINK. Third post down I have some calculations.

If you look on the same link that craw posted I posted an imgur link to my fill chart. I use Manor but it has the same active ingredient percent as the one you use.

That is a fan tip sprayer at .67 gallons a minute and 1,000 square feet per minute if you are trying to cover the whole property.

Thought I was on the Movie/TV Board for a minute.

Y’all see The Pharmacist? Wow.

Anyway, I’m following this thread too. Same luck

I only use fan tip sprayers. No cones.

I also use fan tips - the more expensive hand or backpack sprayers, Solo for example, usually come with a few different tips, including fan tips, that you can switch out for different applications. The less expensive sprayers usually just come with the adjustable cone tip.

yall are speaking a foreign language to me. so the sprayer i posted above doesn't have a fan tip? is it ok to use? seemed to do fine with the cocktail.

can you link a somewhat affordable sprayer with a fan tip?
