Don't be silly. I hope our leaders sing from the same hymnal and start implementing best practices to suppress this pandemic, and unless something very strange happens, I'll be one of the first to get the vaccine should it be approved and will encourage others to get it as well.
I really hope you don't treat patients.

- we'll pass them in deaths per capita in the next couple of days), while Spain & France are bouncing back to cases per capita similar to where we are.
We sure as hell will, because we are going back and culling deaths from March for untested, but presumed, Covid deaths.... and counting things like a comorbity in the deaths of 4700 Covid "deaths" as self inflicted injury..
If you are desperate enough to count suicides positive for Covid as a Covid death, then your death rate will be skewed and 100% wrong. How many hospice patients were also Covid "deaths"? Bet Europe isn't doing this politically motivated "throw 'em all in the Covid bucket" bullshite. Socialized medicine doesn't pay more for a Covid patient. Follow the money.

And now deep pharma is opposing GEOTUS' pledge to give us our vaccine next month. GEOTUS will fight on!

President Trump may want a Covid-19 vaccine to ship in time to boost his re-election chances, but the pharmaceutical industry doesn’t appear ready to cooperate — at least, not on his terms.
In a highly unusual turn of events, nine vaccine makers — including some of the world’s biggest companies — plan to issue their own public pledge not to seek government approval without extensive safety and effectiveness data on Tuesday. This follows a fairly similar open letter the BIO trade group released last week warning any vaccine or therapy should only become available with the same sort of “rigorously considered” data.

Doc, things are definitely trending in right direction
National Positivity rate going down to where it was before the second surge
Looking good. It's hammer and dance for everyone until we can get and keep a low R0, though.

The surge is about over here in OC
2.5% positivity rate, only 113 cases today, and hospitalizations down big
Makes my gonads tingle with hope

It's the Great Plains' turn in the barrel.
Posted on 9/7/20 at 2:35 pm to TigerDoc
Yea but the base number remains fairly low in those states, so even a “surge” may not result in substantial numbers
The state to watch right is PA
Worrying rise in hospitalizations and case growth

Yep, and what seems to be driving some growth now is college coming back in.

But very unlikely to spike the serious cases/hospitalization/death numbers, wouldn't you agree?

For context, those are cases per million.
Between North and South Dakota, you have 1.5M. Iowa has 3M total population.
South Dakota is currently averaging 3 deaths/day. Same for North Dakota. Iowa is averaging 10.

He doesn’t care. He’s all in on promoting the virus.

He wants deaths until November.

FYI for everyone following the thread.
The wife and I are headed to Anchorage AK to visit our kids/grandkids. SIL is a Captian in the Army stationed at JBER. I'll be gone for 3 weeks; however, I will endeavor to keep the site/thread updated as much as possible while I am there.
Alaska is 3 hours behind CST, so any of the updates I do get to make are likely to be later in the evening than normal.

I thought that at first as well, but I think they were just trying to counter Kamala’s rhetoric that was putting distrust in the process.

If it stays predominantly in the student population, yes.
