I’m starting to think you’re pulling for this to get worse and are basking in the attention.
Every time someone mentions a positive trend, you clap back.... the reality is, based on your own graphs, the trend is and has been positive.
Start at 3/19 and then look at each day after. With the exception of 3/22, every day has a lower growth rate then the previous. This is called a trend, and this trend is positive.

I think you’re tripping.

Haha you’re prob right bc I’ve been stuck inside for too long but come on man, this situation is like raising a retarded kid..... you need to celebrate all the small victories!! Right?

I do agree with that.

There haven't been any human coronavirus vaccines because there hasn't been a huge enough public health push for it, but there are animal coronavirus vaccines in veterinary medicine, so it's probably doable.

Yea I’m sure he hopes this keeps going so he can keep updating graphs for strangers 3x a day for free.

This is the link to the COVID-19 tracker that I have shared on Google Drive. Chromdome's COVID-19 Daily Tracker
The source for the data is https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/
The source for the testing data is from https://covidtracking.com/data/
On the tracker sheet you will see tabs for the following data:
1) US Summary
2) Country Comparables: This shows you how the US stacks up vs. select other countries dealing with COVID-19
3) Italy Summary
4) UK Summary
5) France Summary
6) Germany Summary
New Tabs added in the last day
7) US Weighted Averages - Explores 7 day vs 3 day weight average trends
8) Predictive Model - A simple predictive model that shows where the numbers will be in the future if growth rates don't change
If you would like a graph created that I don't have, just ask and if it's possible I will create it for you.
Due to space constraints on the PT board, I'm only posting a few graphs in the thread, if a consensus emerges of what graphs the PT wants to see in thread without having to go to the tracker, I will gladly change them up.
I am working to create a sheet that compares the US metrics to the other countries metrics. I'll let you all know when that's done and available.
NOTE: The daily growth rate data will not be accurate until the end of the day's postings. It will change throughout the day.
NOTE: I am not tracking individual states, I don't have a reliable consistent source for that data.
NOTE: I am not a mathematician, statistics guru, scientist, sharpest tack in the box, I'm just a guy who likes to understand for myself what is happening and to share it with others. This thread was not created to debate if you should or shouldn't take this seriously, it is simply to present the numbers and foster conversation.

which species of animals and which family of corona viruses? is it peptide/protein or RNA based? I agree, that is promising and really interesting.

Growth rate appears to be slowing down?

t would be an bigger misrepresentation than the current number.
how so? It would be much higher in the short term, but theoretically should get driven down over time.

New case info is dependent on number of tests but deaths per day trending down is good.
Posted on 3/25/20 at 3:27 pm to Chromdome35
Some notable negative movement for the US in terms of deaths per million. Started the day even with Germany and South Korea and have since jumped China, Norway, and Austria. Still nowhere near the worst EU countries (we're at 3 deaths per million and Italy and Spain are at 124 and 74, respectively) but don't like to see that relative to our peers.
Posted on 3/25/20 at 3:30 pm to SquatchDawg
where do you see deaths by day trending down? We're half way through today and more than half the # of deaths of yesterday, and you have to assume there's more reporting later in the day

There are a couple of them for dogs for and one for cats for GI infection that are marketed, but it looks like there are more including inactivate virus, attenuated virus, S-protein-based, vector vaccines, and combos of these at various levels of development. Maintaining a robust/long-term respiratory mucusal immunity is a challenge that seems like would be one challenge to overcome. I'm no immunologist, but I think gut immunity in those animal vaccines is somewhat easier.

NY only reporting 14 deaths today? Positive sign or are they about to report another 100 later?
Posted on 3/25/20 at 4:07 pm to MorgusTheMagnificent
If one dies on 3/25 but their test does not come back positive until 3/27, what day does the death get attributed to?

How is your friend doing if you don’t mind us asking? I hope better.
