New Orleans – In an email sent to students today (Mar. 11) Tulane President Mike Fitts is telling all students to move out of the residence dorms by the end of next week (Mar. 22).

This is in addition to the University’s changing all courses to online classes. According to the email, “all uptown, on-campus students should prepare to move out of their residence halls for the remainder of the semester.”

I’d imagine there’s a lot of international students or many not from Nola- where the hell are they supposed to go?

ETA: This is my chance to find a nice Jewish girl. Omw to help them move out

In an effort to protect old people, we're asking you to leave your college dorm and go home to your families. Smart.

I’m sure most schools want to avoid as many people on their campus as possible even just for liability purposes. We’re about to start seeing places getting sued for their “lack of responsiveness” to the situation if someone eventually dies of the virus, if they were on the property and the school hadn’t made the proper “warnings/quarantine” measures you bet your arse people will get sued.

I swear to God, if I hear one more thing about coronoavirus, I'm going to have to strangle a fricking Canadian Goose just to relieve the stress. People are morons.

I would hit reply all and ask when he planned to address refunds for the housing.
