Who was the guy a couple weeks ago saying people born in 1990 have a more similar childhood to people born in 2000 than 1985?
I get what they are trying to say, but the lady doth protest too much, methinks.
With that said, I would argue that someone born in 1985 had a more similar childhood to someone born in 1975 than someone born in 1995.

They had 15 years before a cellphone was pocket sized and internet was just a neat thing their neighbor or friends family had.
It's not wrong to admit that people born early to mid 80s had a completely different music, play, life experience than the kids born in the late 80s early 90s. Especially since those early 80s kids were the among the first that went to Iraq and Afghanistan.
TL;DR
It's dumb to keep up these meaningless generation tags when cultural experience is in a faster rate of change.

The 35 year olds who don't think they're a millennial
We shouldn’t be considered millennials. I grew up without the internet and got my first cell phone at 17 when I started driving. I could only make calls or play brick/snake. My parents did not pay for text messages so I couldn’t do anything on it. Fast forward 8 years and everyone has an iPhone. I didn’t get my first iPhone with internet capabilities until I was 5 years out of college.

Arguing that you shouldn’t be considered a millennial is something only millennials do. Sorry.
Btw most kids born in the late 80s/early 90s will have that same experience. Maybe they got their first smartphone earlier, but the "I could only make calls and play snake on my phone when I was a kid" isn't in anyway unique to people born in the early/mid 80s

The problem is your ilk are too afraid to check your prog/commie peers

To boomers, a millennial is anyone who looks at a cell phone in public
There are plenty of dumb boomers out there that are constantly on their cell phones sharing poorly written memes on facebook.

So people are not allowed to have their own opinions and thoughts?

This is indicative of basically all millennials, dude.
Gen Z is generation that grew up with iPhones being the norm.
Almost all millennials got their first iPhone type phone in college or later. We all experienced the Nokia brick with snake evolve into what we have today. We all experienced dial up through fiber today.
You're describing everything that defined millennials and then saying that doesn't make you a millennial.

That is the definition of a milliennial.

Don't worry, they'll grow out of it and become Boomers. Or at least according to Darth...
