And do you carry it? Looking at the S&W K Frames and the Kimbers and like them both.

First and only pistol my father ever bought me. It was awesome getting it at 16, I could be on the street homeless before it would ever be sold. Stainless steel 6 inch barrel of sheer goodness.

Straightest shooting pistol I've ever shot.

I have a Colt that my dad bought new in 1977. Its had less than a box of shells through it.

He said it was the old Trooper model.

I take it out and admire it from time to time.

Don't laugh but I bought a cheap 357 mag years ago at Academy on sale for Black Friday. I believe I paid a little over $150 for it. It's a black 2" barrel Rossi and it's fun as hell to shoot. Do I carry it? No. But, it'd make a nice hole in someone and I'd use it for home defense

Nicest 357 mag I've ever handled and shot was a neighbor's old school Colt Python. Silky smooth and just a solid piece of machinery

I have the LCR .38 and it's a little snappy. I couldn't imagine the .357.

Before the boating accident I had an 1873 replica in .357. Sweet shooting gun. I don't carry it though. Way too heavy.

I have 3 S&W 686 plus 357’s. Different barrel lengths. I carry 4 inch in my vehicle. If I were to carry on me, would be S&W 642 38 Special

Have a Ruger GP100 MC and a Dan Wesson 15-2VH kit. So I guess that's five .357 revolvers.

I have a S&W 686 stainless 4" barrel. Most accurate hand gun I own. Paid $300.00 for it. I don't carry it.
See my S&W Rant I just posted.

I have a few S&W revolvers and love them all! I have an old Model 12 that I carry sometimes. I have it loaded with 38+P rounds. If you are looking to shoot 357s, I would consider a L frame.

Ruger GP100 have a great holster for it but rarely carry it. Very heavy and I have better CC guns.

Before the boating accident:

S&W 19-3 (k-frame)
S&W M&P 340 (j)
S&W 649-3 (j)
S&W 640-1 (j)

I carry the j frames daily. I keep 357 in all of them but the 340 (its super light). I’m not recoil sensitive at all, but after a day at the range with it and 357 my hand was swollen as hell. The 19-3 is a safe queen.

I have 2.

S&W Model 66-2 snubnose that stays in the truck
and
S&W Model 686 w/ 6" barrel that stays in the nightstand

ETA: Here's my snubnose. Paid $125 for it in 1990 or 91. I can't remember which, but I know it was right after I got out of HS and it's been riding with me ever since.
