Do attorneys like Gordon McKernan take on case work once they make it big?

Do they still do court appearances? Or do they just manage other lawyers and staff at that point?

No clue.

I prefer Dudley DeBosier. They’re the official injury lawyers of the LSU fighting Tigers.

I always assumed they made their money by not going to trial.

Someone told me that Mo Bart hasn’t been in a courtroom in years. Not sure what truth there is to that.

Very rarely is the person who’s name is on the door going to court at a practice of any decent size.

I had jury duty about 2 years ago and DeBosier was litigating.

its like any company structure, they hire lawyers to do it for them at market rates and they are the figureheads who name brings in the clients and then they cherry pick a few high dollar income cases for themselves

They show up at mediation, at press conferences or at the court house steps on the cases they should hit for big verdicts.

If they are actually skilled lawyers, they will be involved in the part of the trials that they are particularly skilled, like jury selection and closing for example.

All those shite lawyers do is teach their minions to settle out of court. Very little law is actually practiced. Bunch of limp jabronis that graduated in the bottom 50% of their class making 40k a year to help “victims” of frivolous crap

The G Man probably hasn’t gone to trial in decades.

Fun fact: Gordon has a prize closet his clients get to go in and choose from at the end of their case. Except it’s tiered like at an arcade where you can only choose certain prizes if your case was worth so much. And of course everything is branded and emblazoned with the “G”.

Can you imagine how good the crystal vase with a G on it looks over the fireplace in the double wide?!?

Word on the street is the satin robe is also a popular item.

those firms typically don't go to court. they have another firm they partner with to do the litigation

the "factory firms" make their money on pre-litigation settlements of small claims. they just do it 100,000 times every year

As Gordon likes to say, about himself, “if you see me in a courtroom, either I’m either lost or I’ve been arrested.”

I bring my kids every year to get one of those 97 bikes

I’m not poor or anything but with 3 kids it saves me like 120 bucks every year and we don’t mind standing in line on plank road for 6 hours
