Well sadly DCA was literally wiped off of the map. There's literally nothing left. I'm just thankful this didn't happen in the day. Hundreds of kids and teachers would have lost their life potentially.

Middle of the night twister. Scary stuff. Saying 5 dead and the tornado was on ground for 10 miles.

Seeing photos of the damage, this thing was at least an EF-3.

Where is Murfreesboro in relation to this?

My daughter (no pics) just moved to Nashville a couple of weeks ago and is living in the Sylvan Heights area. For those familiar w Nashville, is this area close to the tornado destruction? She’s not answering texts or phone. Thanks for any info.

News here in Little Rock said 40 buildings were collapsed.

She's good. Just barely south of where it touched down.

Terrible news to wake up to. Prayers to all.

Spoke to my dad in Murfreesboro. They are fine - I didn’t know where they were in relation to the storm. He said it’s bad.

Not sure why it matters, but not really affected.
Edit - My bad, didn't see the post about your dad
All I thought about was the shithole university there

I can't think of anymore more frightening than a tornado at night

We have family in Mt. Juliet. He said it’s tore up there but their place is fine. He said someone’s insulation is hanging in their trees.

Yeah this was surprising news to wake up to. Knew about storms rolling through, had no idea they would be producing strong tornados already.

Were you at SBA when that tornado hit Landers Toyota, Shogun, and the Shell station?

How much warning was given for this tornado?
We're under a tornado watch here. Sort of came out of the blue.
