Looking like the Cookeville twister was an EF-4

Just insane. I just knew looking at the footage that the Cookeville tornado was a step up from the Nashville damage

Not positive, but I think it's foundation is near the bottom and to the left.

Here's the same link with the drone footage

That picture really shows what's F'd up about tornado's, a path a hundred yards wide means almost certain death but a couple of hundred yards to either side and you have nearly zero damage. Saying a prayer for the folks in Tennessee.

YouTube - WTVF Live Coverage of Tornado In Progress

Within the 1st 5 minutes of the start of this recording... the sirens in Nashville are audible via a skycam with audio and the tornado is still ~10 minutes out

Finally got an email from a friend in east Nashville. She still doesn't have power, no guarantee when she will. Got her cell phone recharged somewhere.

Tornado missed her house by a mile to the north and her daughters' houses by a mile to the south. She wrote that the devastation was terrible and her house only has minor damage.

Now to hear from another east Nashville friend and one in Lebanon TN. Neither are on the deceased lists, which in the end is all that really matters.
