Completely destroyed a school in my neighborhood, 2 miles from my house. Slept through every bit of it. Unbelievable damage this morning.

I live right by this area. No destruction here but she will never mistake the sound of those air raid sirens going off at 1am. Thank God for those but I still haven’t gotten used to them after 6 years.

West Nashville checking in safe. South of the path. We didn't hear any sirens. Wonder if the new siren system reset worked.

I don't know how far West you are, but I heard It blaring in the distance. I'm in the Nations.

Downtown is mostly without power. My company just sent out an email that said don't come in.

We heard the sirens after midnight and I didn’t wake up until my wife slapped my head and said she’s thinks it’s serious. I looked out window and it was apocalyptic and rumbling so grabbed our 1.5 year old and got under stairs.

We were missed by about a quarter* mile. Felt like it was next door.

Still no power but very lucky. Going to help a friend that lost some of their home on the East side.

Fixed: just drove by damage about .25 miles from us. No wonder we felt that fricker.

Hampton Inn on Donelson Pike? That was one of my go-to hotels I used when working in Nashville.

Sad, so sad. But not surprising in today's time.
