I’m all about trying new foods, but how many guinea pigs would the normal person need to eat to be considered full?
4? 5?
It was on a rotisserie spit.

I’ve always hypothesized that they’re probably tasty critters. They don’t move a lot, so I bet they’re tender

I had one in Peru, but it was fancy.
Alpaca burger is a gimmick. Don't eat that shite. Gross.
Unrelated, ostrich is fricking amazing.

IIRC it is called cuy in Ecuador. It tastes like grilled pork shoulder.

Worse version of rabbit because they don’t know how to cook them

I’ve had it. It’s a delicacy in EC. I wasn’t so tuned off by the thought of eating it as I was with the way it was cooked. A Cajun style Guinea pig would probably be pretty good.

It’s not that weird. Most people have known they eat it

Probably quoted in the local currency.
NM... looks like this place is in Los Angeles. So $25 for guinea pig is apparently just where they're at now.

I chose not to eat Guinea pig in Peru after seeing them running around.

Ecuador's currency is the U.S. dollar.
Yeah, I saw those prices and thought that was high for Ecuador. Makes sense that it's L.A.

Guinea pigs are almost the same weight as a rabbit and weigh twice as much as a squirrel.
