Go by Good Chemistry for some supplies. Really great dudes over there. They are a client.

My wife and I will be close by this afternoon in Charlton. Grabbing beers at Tree House.

Baptists and evangelicals. Great thing Seven Day Adventist don't have more power, they're the worst. Couldn't believe anyone supported Ben Carson.

It's also still illegal to masturbate, have sex outside of marriage, use sex toys, or have butt sex in some states.

It's persecution by a religion.

There are folks out there who are delusional enough to think that it is tough to be a christian in the United states.

The question was why they still exist, not why they exist in the first place.

I remember as a kid how vast the scope of Blue Laws reached. Back then, you couldn't buy hardware, ammo or any sporting goods, certain non-food items at grocery stores, retailers no associated with the food industry were closed, so no clothing stores, shoe stores, etc. were open.

It was pretty much go to church, buy some groceries and go home.

I agree that the laws are dumb but I literally have never had to deal with this because I have the ability to plan ahead.

There are several states that dont allow hunting on Sunday's. Some just on public land, some for all hunting. The laws were put in place to try and encourage church attendance. Now, the argument to keep them in place is often that public lands are not just for hunting so the hunt free Sunday's allow for safe hiking and other recreation.

Why did you quote me for this?

I know about the hunting regulations in some states for Sunday. This ultimately is about a slapdick complaining he can’t buy booze before noon on Sunday.

The alcohol blue laws are pretty easy to work around. Just pointing out that some blue laws aren't, especially if you work all week.

Where I live it's illegal to buy alcohol at a store on Sunday but it's legal to go to a restaurant or bar and order beer, wine, and hard liquor.

Makes sense.

The few places around BR that still had them got rid of them several years ago. You can buy liquor at 6am on Sunday in a gas station.

Depends on the parish.

I can't think of any right around here that still have them. LP got rid of theirs. EBRP as well.

It was dumb anyway because you could just drive across the bridge or to AP previously and buy it. I guess they realized they were missing out on tax money.

They are in place because the majority of the people in your community want it that way.

Either embrace democracy or move someplace that embraces homosexuality and heathens like yourself.
