Opelousas is the benchmark for Louisiana trashy imo. Not really comparing since I dont know very much about New Roads
I knew Opelousas was trashy, but I didn't realize it was trashier than Leesville.

Exactly the language you expect from the offspring of a New Roads single mother.

It's great if your last name is Parlange.

Looking at the map, is False River fed by something? It looks cut off
No, not fed by the MR if that’s what you’re asking. Its an oxbow lake that is fed by rainwater.

Look dude, I’m sorry your daughter got knocked up and dumped by some Bergeron boy up there. Next time tell her not to be such a whore and you won’t be a paw paw at 27.

Yes, there are still two parades. The railroad tracks separate the races still. Its a nice place to live if you dont want alot of things to do around you. You have false river, and a couple bars. Thats it.

Does anyone ever get drunk and try to swim across it?
Posted on 2/16/20 at 2:40 pm to Sao
Nah, they just get drunk. Too much effort to swim across it.

You understand the age this would make my daughter? In one post you confirmed my original post and then added pedophilia to the mix.
YIKES

Median income is $33,600. You poor baw?
Posted on 2/16/20 at 2:43 pm to tigerinthebueche
Looks like someone could wager another baw to do it while getting rum dumb at Daiquiri Diner. Probably only 1500 feet or so. Mikel.

I don’t live in New Roads, so no.

Man, when you set the bar that high, don't be surprised if nothing meets your standards.
ETA: I googled "False River". This is the picture Google put up next to the map.

It wouldn't have been any harder to keep going at that point.

Just finished driving around there and looking at a couple of houses. There are houses with purple and lime green trim on both sides of the tracks.

It’s not the trashiest in LA by a long shot

Why are you asking? Are you considering moving there or just curious?
