Nope. But if you're wanting to have a daycation and have your hearts are set on Abbeville, I like Dupuy's.

For kids, y'all could stop by Drew Brees' Surge right off of HWY 90 on the corner of Verot and Pinhook.

Cajun Claws would be. It’s a beautiful little town with a park and stuff.

Boudin and cracklin products in Scott.

I live here, eat at both 2/3 times a month, both are great, more variety at shucks, but is it worth it to drive from BR for either? Depends on your tolerance for a 3hr round trip. We drive to BR for Texas di Brazil

It used to be. Alas, no longer. Since the original owners sold, the quality has waned. The prices have increased, though.

I’d debate this, the current owners have owned this greater than 10 years, the menu has expanded and has gotten rave revues, I’d put Shucks and Dupuy’s against anyone.

I believe it is worth it...great selection of oysters, varied menu from terrific apps to the Shucks Stacker, service is always terrific.

I've ate at Shucks a few times and thought it was pretty good. Not OMG we gotta come back ASAP but it wasn't as bad as some are making them out to be. And every time I went that bitch was packed. I will say this...I haven't been in probably a year and a half though.

Always ate raw, Rockefeller, and char-broiled oysters.

I am not saying it is bad. I am saying I wouldn’t drive from BR to go there.

This was a franchise deal, once opened, the owners from Abbeville helped get it up and running, but the owner of the BR location couldn’t make it pull through, had nothing to do with the original location.
