It’s fair to worry about whether we will see our 2018 offense or our 2019 offense. Posters that are trying to diminish Brady’s contributions to our offense are fooling themselves.

The guy was an nfl head coach. Had enough success to climb the ladder all the way to the top of the sport. Much more qualified than joe Brady was last year.

His resume is incredible for someone who is only the qb coach/passing game coordinator. We shouldn’t let the huge and quick success of joe Brady overshadow this guy’s whole career.

And you could say the same for pelini. Incredible resume to find as a DC replacement. Sure I’d rather keep Brady and Aranda, but that wasn’t an option. These are really good replacements.

If you want to see what linehan was about you’ll have to look at his time in Detroit. He was the offensive coordinator with a defensive head coach. At Dallas he had an offensive head coach that was likely steering the ship. At Detroit there was nobody above him to meddle.

You know absolutely nothing about football especially the offense. Would take too long to explain all the things E had to deal with in his first fulltime OC duties. E is a really good OC

You would ignore it anyway. Stay stuck in stupid.

The article said it worked when a Dallas had great players. LSU has great players on offense. Not to mention, he’s not bringing his offense, he’s not LSU’s offensive coordinator, and he’s not LSU’s head coach. Those bitching about what he did wrong as an NFL HC or OC are wasting their time, because he’ll won’t be either of those things at LSU.

The good news is, a PGC isn't a position that makes/breaks you, Brady was the exception not the rule.

Nope. Brady was no exception. You’re just under that misapprehension.

Ensminger readily admitted to O that he had no idea how to transition to a modern spread offense. Thus the Brady hire. Thus the Broyles award that went to Brady....not Ensminger. Feel free to have your opinion but you’re re-writing history in the process.

I know Garret Nussmeier is a recruiting target for the 2021 class. Maybe the connection between Linehan and Doug Nussemier has a connection

Nick saban didnt amaze anyone in the NFL as a head coach. Would you take him as the LSU def coordinator? Because that is a fair comparison to the argument you are making.

That’s a retarded comparison.

Linehan has had 10+ years in the league and has failed at every stop.

That doesn’t compare to the 2 yrs nicky had in the league.

Lol you have ZERO objective facts to back this up.

His best offense at Texas AM and Clemson was ranked 36. The rest of of his offenses as a OC for 6+ years was ranked above 50

you're not wrong, we didn't run that many different route concepts last year. What made the offense special was the fact that the ball was on the money and we had 4 receivers that were match-up nightmares
