Macadamia nuts

Just checked. A cup has 962 calories. I can eat a cup in about 20 minutes

What do I win?

Interesting. I feel like candy might not fill you up, but would make you sick long before you reached 20k

I don't know. I can put down a shitload of candy in one sitting, you would be shocked given my size. Looks like it would take 39 reese's peanut butter cups. I think that's doable in 24 hours

Anything calorie dense enough to be small enough in volume would be so rich it would make you sick long before you ate a lot of it. I don't think a normal person could do it. Maybe a morbidly obese person who had worked up to it over time.

quote:

29. Why do the bears only eat part of the fish?
If you see bears only eating the skin, brains, and eggs of a salmon, they are practicing good energy economics. At these times, a bear’s profit margin in calories is so high that it can ignore some excess fish. As a bear fills up on salmon, it can “afford” to not eat certain parts of the fish. This behavior has been nicknamed “high-grading.” Like miners looking for high-grade ore, bears try to consume high grade fat.

Salmon are a high calorie meal for a bear. A sockeye salmon contains about 4500 calories, but the fattiest parts of the fish contain the most calories proportionally. Bears know this and prefer to eat the skin, brain, and eggs—the fattiest parts of a salmon—when fish are in abundance. This is an ephemeral behavior, however. When salmon are not abundant or hard to catch then bears will not be as selective and will most often eat the whole fish. Watch a video of a bear high-grading fish at Brooks Falls.

where are y'all getting some of these numbers? Google says a Reese's is 87 calories. 20,000/87= 230 peanut butter cups

Gumbo isn't exactly calorie-dense. Not the best choice.

And you could only eat one type of food, what would it be?

Heavy cream. ~1.5 gallons is 20k calories. I could down 1.5 gallons of cream in a day. For comparison, you’d have to eat ~eight 18” meat lovers pizzas.

Cold pressed coconut oil. Not sweet or dense at all, subtle coconut taste. 4500 calories per jar, I think I could i could polish off 5 in 24 hours

Yeah I was wondering what that guy was thinking with choosing crawfish. I don’t think you could pick a worse answer considering the work to get the food
