So The Cowboys were rumored to hire LSU’s PGC, LSU reverses the whip and hires their pGC instead?

If we were to grade Scott’s Offensive ranking at Dallas...

‘14. 5/32 85% B
‘15. 31/32 3% F
‘16. 5/32. 85% B
‘17. 14/32 56% F
‘18. 22/32 31% F

Total 52% F

What he brings to our table? I don’t know...I don’t get it. But, O knows and I trus

Can you really grade someone from the Cowboys?

I’m not excited or disappointed

I’m just MEH

All you naysayers and
@SEC
bashers...this is all you should need to read: When Lil Nicky jumped to @NFL.. the 1st OC he called was...LINEHAN who was with the Miami Dolphins in 2005 under Nick Saban, then was hired as head coach by the St. Louis Rams on January 19, 2006.

It's been widely discussed quite a bit on LSU radio stations and various boards, including this one.
Here's an article from Shea at 247 that touched on this -
everything in that article is speculation

He’s not a terrible playcaller but he’s definitely not super innovative or creative. I actually found him pretty conservative with the playcalling generally as a Cowboys fan.
56 years old, was an NFL head coach and now taking a passing game coordinator job in college. Not the proper trajectory for someone innovative and cutting edge.

Why do we need a passing game coordinator if Brady left the playbook? Is O fearful Ensminger is going to regress to the 1970s? Is a 56 year old coach on the decline going to keep E moving forward?

Bunch they both had huge roles in our success last year. It is safe to say you aren’t great at evaluating coaches

So fricking pathetic.

Fail with Canada
Fail with E
Fail with Linehan

Just keep on hiring.

We all hope he wasn't hired and given the freedom to make household changes to the offense. I agree with you, it's a wait and see situation.

I hope he proves me wrong, but my initial response is that this is not a good hire. So we supplement Ensminger with a guy who’s known for not being especially creative or innovative?

I think he’s a quality hire. He will have a boat load of offensive talent in which to work with. Kids will be receptive to him because of NFL background and players he has coached. Coach O obviously thinks he is a good fit, and that is why others were bypassed during this search. I trust EO.

All I can say is CEO proved me wrong and brought LSU a NC in a short time

I hope he proves me wrong again with the hire

Cam Cameron 2.0, and that guy was worthless at coaching and recruiting, but let everyone wet their pants because he coached in the nfl

Brady was mostly responsible for implementing the offense. Which is still there, I might add.

we have the offense brady implemented and 2 OCs to run it who really aren't familiar with it. what could go wrong?
