I was being sarcastic. You are obviously a bad alter with terrible opinions.

Y’all are making me want to see Hughes start all season.

The kid is a hard worker I'm sure but LSU is supposed to bring in championship caliber players. Havent seen that type of receuiting in a few years...our arms will be decent this year...good luck to hughes, hope he hits above 180 this year...lsu will be sound defensively and be weak at the plate as usual...are we satisfied with 1 runner up in 11 years? We are likely to place 6th in the sec this year...

I’ll never understand why some people get kicks out of trolling. All they succeed in doing is making themselves look like a fool.

It’s abundantly clear the you’re either an unwitty troll or brutally ignorant when it comes to anything baseball.

I originally thought Kramer Robertson's play was a detriment to LSU, but I was ultimately proven wrong. I'll hold judgement against HH till about SEC tournament play.

To be clear, Kramer also hit extremely well in high school while Hughes has never been elite at the plate. If he can just give us a bit more at the plate, he will be fine. I don’t expect him to make a Kramer-esque leap.

Last year

149 ab
11 RBIs (3 against Nicholls)
2 doubles

These are not shortstop numbers.

I am not sure this is a fair comparison.

Kramer was still known to have all the talent and had displayed it at the previous level. Right?

From what I understand, Hal Hughes didn't exactly tear it up at the H.S. level either?

I just don't understand how LSU can continue to trot him out in their lineup if he can't even hit .200

He is trending down. Unlike some guys who struggled in the past early on.. they eventually trended up.

Hal Hughes hit .174 last year.

At some point you would figure they'd have someone else ready to step up. We shall see.

The season hasn’t even started yet and you’re already declaring he won’t bat .200

You want to talk about trends? He was trending way up through the Cape Cod playoffs and has been much better in the scrimmages the last few weeks. It’s almost like maybe the Eddie Smith hire could have a positive impact.

I'm trolling by saying hh can't hit? I'm only saying facts and not to mention, 100s of others have said the same thing. As far as tiger hitting, say what you want but I think the batting averages will be weaker this year esp with runners in scoring position. I mean we HAD 5 or 6 tigers who played well defensively but batted poorly for the most part in the sec and post season...some of you people getting all yalls feelings hurt over facts lol, calling me names, the paranoia is real here ...lol...I guess I'm an alter troll also for saying lsu pitching will be decent too...geez

This is an option. Not a fact.

Everyone has been bitching about getting a real hitting coach since Cannizzaro left. Well, now we have one. He has proven to get good results with, in my opinion, lesser talent. I'm anxious to see what he can do with our guys.
