I mean what was put on the court tonight was absolutely awful. Couldn't stop and team who can't be bothered to score. I know it's basketball it happens yadda yadda.

Nah, that was a horrible loss any way you look at it. The worst part of it all was the total lack of effort. We officially have our 1st terrible loss of the season. Hopefully this makes the team play extra hard vs Auburn on Sat.

I think we have fans that are used to football and it bleeds into both basketball and baseball at times.
Basketball is a funny sport where any team can get hot and beat any other team. Also there are 30 games in a season so having one bad loss doesn't sink the ship.
The issue is our fans have the football mindset of any loss kills the season and react accordingly.
LSU lost to a lowly Missouri team last year and it turned out ok for us. I think we will be fine.

The loudest are the super O fans that hate if Wade takes a smidge of spotlight.
Ive noticed people are still really insecure about O. People wont even bring him up or say something bad and posters fly off the handle to defend him. Its very strange.

LSU did not lose to Missouri last year. This loss is big because it was a game we should have won and it wiped our our 2 game cushion in the standings.
