I think I just did. Found some cousins that think they know my biological father.

The government is going to create clones of you now

Gonna be some slack-jawed clones

Why would I pay someone to steal my genetic data?

So you can find out if you’re .01% or more Black and / or Jewish?

My dad is the only family member I know on 23andme. He was serving in Korea when I was born.
So I'm thinking about signing up for 23andme, change my visible name to a Korean name, and then activating the family&friends feature. Just wondering if I should time it for Father's Day or April Fools.

No, i dont want anyone finding me and asking for money.
Apparently have some family in the Ukraine. My dad's dad banged a woman when he was stationed there, knocked her up, deployed elsewhere and never saw her again.
He then got back to america after his service and started a family and had my Dad. So, I may have relatives there, or I may have none.

I know someone who found a sister born 2 years after him. Apparently there was an affair and the parents gave her up and nobody told him. 59 and 57 years old now. His family keeping that secret from him his whole life until he got a match one day from someone in California. Old people kept tight lips, damn. Grandma's, aunt's, nobody ever said a word to him.

Yes, we have.
I paid for my entire family to do both 23andme and Ancestry dna tests .... including my very elderly mother and father.
We spread it out over time skipping generations and alternating tests to make sure everything was on the up and up.
The way I paid for them was I gave all of them cash for the tests so that there would be no way for the companies to cross credit cards or addresses.
It's pretty interesting. We found some missing relatives that my mom had been searching for for awhile. Found them not far from where she thought they were in Texas where she was born and grew up.
Found out my sister's husband had an illegitimate child out there he didn't know he had through a connection with my nieces and nephews .... that's caused some issues and I'm on my BiL's shite list which I kinda feel bad about.
My daughters from my first wife discovered some cousins on her side they didn't know they had.
It's all been pretty interesting.
Most interesting was my Dad and my oldest granddaughter were the first two to send their spit in .... absolutely no way 23andme could have made the connection by any means other than DNA because my Dad is in Tennessee and my oldest granddaughter is in Jupiter Florida .... but within two weeks they were both getting notifications of their relationship to one another which thrilled my daughter and me.
It's all been pretty cool actually because it confirmed the accuracy of the technology.

I’d never send my info, but every thing the government wants, they already have. We’ve submitted every thing. Our phones record it all.
frick the Patriot Act. frick the FBI. frick the deep state.

Not me, but a friend found out he had a half sister from Europe from when his dad was stationed there.

Ancestry. 1/2 half sister. And she wasn’t a half sister cause my dad had an affair. 1 year younger than my oldest full sister. We knew she could be out there but never thought we would find her.
