Anyone had any issues with this? All the pills will be in the original prescription bottles. One is a narcotic. Tia

TSA isn’t looking for drugs they’re looking for bombs. Enjoy your flight baw.

Nope. Walked onto an international flight with 3 lortabs, not in their bottle, in my pocket. Didn't even take them out at security. I also had weed edibles in my carry on.
I did move the 2 I didn't take on the flight to the Tylenol bottle in my carry-on before going through customs though.

RIP if you're going to Singapore.

You'd damn sure better check the laws of the country you're going to. The TSA isn't what you need to be worrying about. You need to be worrying about bringing something across borders that'll get your arse caned or worse.

DOn't bring any attention to it...
have the bottles with labels on it to cover your bases but basically don't act suspicious

I went to Singapore with Narcs. They requested approval before I arrived. When I got to Singapore nobody cared about checking my bags outside of the routine scans.
The one recommendation I do have is to not have more than 30 days worth of each prescription on you.

This. My brother once listed he had an inhaler on him in Japan. They took him to the back room for 30 minutes of questioning.

Went to Turk and Caicos 2 years ago and Jamaica last year. Had all our meds in original bottles with our names on them and never had a problem with TSA or customs.

I would not travel with narcotics you can get screwed. I don’t care what you read on the internet you are leaving America due process does not exist elsewhere.

I bring insulin on international flights and they rarely open the bag to even look at it.

This is better advice than my shitty response above. I was just incredibly stupid. I had the prescription bottle for the lortabs, but it was in my checked bag. I forgot I had put them in my pocket until I was in the security line and I didn't want to draw attention to myself so just rolled with it. My butthole was pretty puckered up though, mainly because of the edibles in my carry on bag.

You’ll be fine. I’ve flown international a few times with flower before no issues; as mentioned TSA is looking for weapons not drugs.
Better be care flying to an Islamic State though. Check laws carefully so you don’t end up with life in prison.

I always bring a letter from my MD with my medications listed with his signature.
At the same time, it depends on the country you are flying to.
Flying to a Caribbean/European/Asian country, no prob.
Flying to a Middle Eastern country, "might" get questioned.

Keep all medications together in a large gallon ziplock bag and put in tray with any liquids, if necessary. As long as they are in the original Rx bottle and traveling with the person they are prescribed to they won’t even look at it twice.
ETA - check the laws of the country you are traveling to in case one of the Rx are illegal there. I’ve never had an issue and travel internationally 3-4 times a year but never been to Muslim country.

As long as the prescriptions are your’s, it shouldn’t be a problem. Go to your airport’s website. They should have a list of rules approved by the TSA.
ETA: And check the country’s laws. They might have regulations you aren’t aware of.
