Yep. That's taken straight from the Democrat Party playbook.
Are you people fricking SERIOUS??
That is literally what Trump has said about HIS taxes. "Democratic playbook"? Holy frick are you people delusional. I'm starting to think "Trump derangement syndrome" doesn't mean what you think it means.

Trump says he can't release them because he is under audit, not because it's too complicated. Even CNN admits that it is smart:
quote:
Most tax attorneys would typically advise a client against doing so if they're under audit to avoid further scrutiny. Once the tax returns are out, reporters could find something that the IRS missed.
And his lawyer advised against it:
quote:
"I personally will not allow him to release those tax returns until the audits are over," Cohen told CNN in August 2016. "There is not a lawyer on this planet that should give that advice -- any advice other than what I just gave -- to their client short of suffering malpractice."

I don't recall him ever saying his taxes were too complicated to discuss. Nor have I heard any credible allegation that he hasn't paid the appropriate amount. This includes the IRS. Therefore, I would say the situations are quite different.

Trump has you people literally deranged.

I didn't say he should or he shouldn't. All I pointed out was the deranged poster who said it was a page out of the Democratic playbook, when Trump literally said it.

If you owe back taxes you should be disqualified from any public office

That's because Trump has you deranged.

Don't try to change the subject. Cantrell said essentially the same thing Trump said, and not only do you people not want to admit it, one even went as far as to say it was out of the Democratic playbook.
You can't make this shite up...
...oh wait, apparently y'all can.

I can see that logic is not your thing. No worries -- I'll disengage. Enjoy your TDS.

I agree.
But then that would mean candidates would have to release their tax returns before running for office. Is that what you want too?

Did this news come out from Latoya releasing her tax returns?

Yeah, can't actually address the point, can you?

I don't know.
It doesn't look like it came out before the election, though. It probably should've.

Correct. When someone gets in trouble with the IRS, it becomes public record.

I guess when your arse is exposed, nothing to do but start calling other people names.
But come on guys, quit bumping this embarrassment of a thread. It's only exposing your derangement.
TDS exposed

Not, it's not.
But let's discuss this. What do you really think you're gonna find in Trump's taxes?
An unbiased IRS would have found something if there was something to find. Obama weaponized the IRS against conservatives, so if there was anything to be found it really would have been found.
Are you looking for his bankruptcy from the early 90's? Cause that been out there for everyone to see for over 20 years
So that leaves, he isn't as rich as he says he is. Guess what? I don't give a shite. The only people that do are deranged liberals. His bank account doesn't affect how he runs the country.
So tell us again, why do you want to see Trump's taxes so bad?
Now if you want to talk taxes, every Republican should be asking for Joe and Hunter Biden's tax returns, because they obviously did not pay taxes on the money they received from Ukraine. The IRS probably wants to look into that also. But how many Republican's do you see melting and asking for the Biden's tax returns?

Maybe the voters should find out before the election that a tax cheat is running.
