Only a matter of time till the nba retires it

Seems strange to me

While sad, Kobe was already retired from the NBA

Yeah, I don't see the point of this for the Mavs. I guess Cuban is trying to start a movement for the league to retire his number, but if Kobe's number gets retired what about a number of other guys?

today has been weird on that level. it's shocking and super sad (esp since his kid was with him), but people are going like 500% overboard

This is so Cuban. Subtle way of making it about him.

Damn classy of the mavs.

Heart goes out to you and your fanbase, OP. Seeing Timmy crying on the bench today was....wow.

Exactly. While he was young, and his death is certainly shocking and sad, he was already retired from the nba. The league hasn’t retired Wilt’s, Russell’s, Magic’s, Bird’s, or Jordan’s number. So why does Kobe deserve more honor than those guys?

I am very educated about this subject. I worked at a place called Victim Services Center of Montgomery County, PA.

My office was in Norristown, PA.

Cosby and Kobe were from Montgomery County.

I was invited to the retiring of his jersey by Greg Downer, his high school basketball coach at Lower Merion. Great guy...and I will send him my condolences.

I've read every court document filed on the case. I have his statement to police saved on my phone.

I can assure you...I know more about the Colorado case than most.

on one hand you have people who are making this horrible situation into a much bigger deal than it is

on the other hand, you have people who are making this horrible situation into a situation about them
