Hmmm. I can remember some high rated recruits who couldn’t of loved him that much.

Coach O suggested that Bill Johnson could be a permanent solution in 2020 after Meatball got hurt. This isn't some giant surprise.

He was an analyst this year. He did not coach and he was not allowed to recruit off campus.

Wish him well. He wasn’t going to get his old job back, so can’t blame him.

Baylor and LSU have less than 5% chance of playing each other. If there is better opportunity for some assistant coaches why not let them have it, specially, when they can replaced with better ones.

But it could be an opportunity for Christian Lacouture or someone else if they embrace recruiting.
quote:
Former LSU defensive lineman Christian LaCouture is coming back to Baton Rouge as a defensive graduate assistant, he announced on his Instagram and sources confirmed the move to Geaux247.
"Vince Lombardi said that “Football is like life-it requires perseverance, self-denial, hard work, sacrifice, dedication and a respect for authority.” I truly believe that my journey in the game has required and taught me all of these things and so much more," LaCouture said on Instagram.
"I have always known that someday I would love to be a coach in the sport that I truly love and have dedicated the better part of my life training for and playing. "Therefore, when Coach Orgeron provided me with an opportunity to coach and become a graduate assistant and finish my graduate degree at LSU while learning under the best defensive minds in the business, my future became clear.
I look forward to evolving my path at LSU and being a part of the great defensive tradition. GEAUX Tigers!"
