His defenses were strong against the run, but we need proven LB and DB pass expertise. His record at Major CFB level is depressing. Please, Coach O, don't do it!

What does his record as a head coach have to do with him just being a DC here?

He averaged 8.5 wins as Head Coach as Nebraska. That's as HC and not DC. I see nothing depressing about that.
Now his temper issues are legit and they need to be updated for latest info.

If you don't trust Orgeron by now, maybe find another team.

The game was run heavy in those dark ages. The game is now pass happy, and there is NOTHING about his DC resume that indicates he is our man. Would be my monument mistake, and a risk we simply do not have to take. Far better candidates exists. It would be like bringing Miles into be our OC. Insanity

I am Coach O's biggest fan. Was when all you pussies were saying he was a bad hire. I am seeing NOTHING on his DC resume to indicate he is the best bet for the DC position when the SEC is essentially the Big 12 offensively

He won 9 or 10 games every year he was HC there. You probably averaged in his one game in 2003 as interim bowl game coach.

I agree but think about it. This was 13 years ago. Different game today on both sides of the ball. Pellini would be a huge mistake.

You guys need to get over yourselves. Pelini is a great defensive coach. He won a freaking national title for LSU.

At this point, I have total faith in Coach O. If he thinks he is the right man for the job, then I’m all for it.
