Anyone notice on the highlight videos when Joe is coming off the field pointing to his ring finger and O hugs him around the chest area how he appears to grimace in pain? Might just be a smile, but looked like he was in some pain. Pretty awesome he played through all that pain. It’s been 7 days and still can’t stop watching the game highlights over and over again.

Torn cartilage in his ribs yet he continued to drop dimes and use his legs. Tough. As. Mother. fricking. Nails.

He’s gonna be a damn good pro.

I’m naming my kid Joe.

Torn cartilage in his ribs. That would make most sit out. Dude is a beast.

Joe Burrow would have had to have been knocked out to sit out that game.

Joe's great and we'll never see another like him. But all you slobbin his knob over toughness have no idea what the linemen or LBs deal with on a play by play basis.

I watched the replay last night and noticed after throwing the TD to Moss O hugged Joe and patted him around the ribs and Joe noticeably winced.

My MIL said during an interview Joe started to say he "got a shot" of something at halftime. I would guess he got toradol or something. Regardless, dude fricking balled out hurt or not.

ETA...I’m aware he tore rib cartilage on that pass to Moss. Just didn’t realize how bad it was until watching replays because watching game live it was hard to tell he was even hurt at all.

"Thanks Coach, but maybe next time don't slap my cracked ribs!"
