Laundry Detergent Fundraiser

Kids used to sell candy and World's Finest Chocolate
Then came the little Amway type boxes
Then came candles and wrapping paper
Now, my bud today posted that his kid (not in Louisiana) is selling LAUNDRY DETERGENT as a fundraiser.
Apparently it comes in a 5 gallon bucket with a pump, and is "comparable to leading national brands". $45 for a bucket. Or you can get 300 pods for $50.
Anyone else experience this? Maybe some of you travel ball baws can get in on this action. Raise money for your world series trip to the beach and not have to go get laundry detergent at the store!

300 pod for 50 bucks is a hell of a deal

I’ll take 2 buckets. What’s the smell?

Well, today's kids would prefer to eat these over the chocolate kids used to sell, so this makes sense

That’s a worse deal. But it’s for the kids.

Conversation I had with my wife while driving to see our grandchildren.
Our oldest is in pre-k at the local Methodist church.
Wife: She is selling wrapping paper and gift bags for a fund raiser". "How much should we buy"?
Me: "I'm going in to this like Trump with Ukraine". "Here is a Benjamin, put it in your operating funds or not". "But I demand to know why she received on one occasion a note described by the teacher...she was talkative today".
Quid Pro Quo.
Wife: "Just be careful, there may be a Sexton or a member of the Alter Guild nearby".

We live in the era of obesity-free fundraising.

My kids’ school would never ask the students to sell something when they simply ask the parents to cut a check.

No 55 gallon drum, no care

We've had coffee and chocolate this year.
And mattresses but that was at school.

So getting 300 for $50 is a better deal than getting 300 for $42 plus tax?

My kid's travel team sells diesel as a fundraiser. Baws supporting little baws.

I know a travel team that runs a brothel. That way, they will always have funds flowing in. There are a lot of poor talented kids that need money to make the trips,

Then they'd better get used to the idea of fund free fundraising.
