Based on interviews ..

I’d expect Clemson not play coverage .. but insist on affectlng Burrow on his throws ..

With this, I expect Isiah Simmons to play Spy-Rover to clean up on hot routes and RB Helaire-Edwards .

If he proves to be a NFL primed Top 10 player .. this Will be LSU’s biggest Challenge to date .. Despite Aubie dline ...

I expect The game to have fewer points early and a Fourth quarter track race

I think LSU will be more than prepared for this. He’s been playing a lot of nickel and safety, but I and many others have been speculating all week that he would play rover. Can’t believe it would catch our coaches by surprise.

The thing about this for me though, he was playing nickel and safety for a reason. They didn’t take their best pass rusher/linebacker and put him in coverage because they felt they were better there, they did it because they don’t trust their nickel and dime backs, or their safeties.

They essentially filled one hole with this move, but created an even bigger one.

It’s no secret LSU targets and has the most success in between the hashes.

That’s where I’d want my best, most versatile player on the field.

He can spy, blitz, fake blitz and drop back to cover cross routes, or shadow Clyde.

The key for Clemson is pressure with their front 4. That’s the only way they can beat LSUs numbers. And then they have to have excellent coverage and account for Joe and Clyde running. That’s it. All their is to it....

Just nobody’s been able to stop it all season. Auburn got pressure but Clemson won’t be able to. And Auburn’s pressure still didn’t win them the game.

He's going to need wings and jet boosters strapped to his hips. I don't give a crap where they put him.

If he is matched up on Clyde, expect LSU to split Clyde our to the sideline and stay out there. Clemson would then have their best player covering LSU’s rb on the sidelines while the LSU receivers have the other 90% of the field to work on their defensive backs.

That’s not a good move by Clemson.

Simmons is really good, but he’s just one man. He will make plays, but he isn’t going to beat us by himself.

Ensminger/Brady/Burrow will figure it out.

With the passes that Burrow consistently makes to these WR’s and them being able to adjust and be on the same page with Burrow is what’s going to make this very difficult for Clemson.

Clyde and Moss are his go to in quick read/blitz situations because they’re mismatches out there. Between the run and pass Clemson is going to have a hard time stopping this offense no matter what they try. Burrow and this offense will find a way to beat it and Clemson knows it. So does Burrow and this offense.

You can play them perfectly and still get burnt. Go back and look at many of our TD’s. They were played well but we made the perfect throw and made the contested catch, consistently. That’s hard to defend. Good Luck!!! Go Tigers!

before it's over they'll be moving him all over the field to try and find a defense that works. venables isn't stubborn - he'll keep making adjustments. LSU will always have an answer.

I would be shocked if spying Clyde is his assignment tomorrow. Okay lefts say he X’s out Clyde but that takes him out of everything else and Joe will wreck shite. That dude is going to be all over the field and watch all the decoy plays that they have for him where he ends up as a space player that you are focused on while they do some other exotic crap from other places.

I look for them to have Simmons all over the place. Moss will have a career night if Simmons never covers him.

If he spies on Clyde.. he will not be in the middle. Burrow will destroy them over the middle and with slants and by running.

We motion Clydeto the outside. If Simmons follows it will a 50 point game for LSU

Simmons is much better in the box than in coverage. A guy like CEH could eat his lunch in the passing game

Idea is ..

Burrow is good under pressure .. but pressure him and attempt to eliminate. CEH on The hot route and of course Will make some plays .. bit Can Simmons take away Easy throws under pressure enough to limit LSU’s comfort and scoring prowess
