No doubt they cared about Obama’s golf trips though

LOL...My point is that the Democrats are a bunch of hypocrites.. But the big media is not going to call them out on it...Well maybe Fox. But Democrats don't watch Fox, it's not on their "safe media list".

Yeah I don't quite recall the Congressional Republicans conducting an operation to make Obama's golfing an officially endorsed issue in an upcoming election.

I have never and will never understand the bitching about potus travel expenses.
It caused a lil uproar during Obama's terms also.
Compared to most of the shite our government wastes taxpayer money on, potus and his family's travel expenses are insignificant.
There's no law that states that a potus and his family has to stay in DC 24/7.

classic straw man
for thinking people, it’s not about the dollar amount it’s the obfuscation of truth. What is wrong with transparency in a taxpayer funded expenditure that has little to no national security impact?
same with his tax returns.
I have no doubt there’s freaky shite in his financial records. If I were a billionaire there’d be freaky shite in mine too. You can’t say we have nothing to hide and then fight like hell to hide it
the GAO can get to the bottom of this if they want but at even more expense. Just release the fricking travel expense records, or make them available to anyone qualified to see them

Don't think you want to compare Trump's travel costs to jug ears....I'm sure they would be remarkably similar. But do carry on with sniveling liberal talking points.

Why?
How much would that cost??

Same ole, same ole. Insinuate that Trump is hiding something with no specificity as to what, just MUST be something, then demand that he show everything he has to prove otherwise.
Sorry, I'd normally agree with you, however Democrats have gone too far over the line with obvious fishing expeditions in an effort to find ammo for character assassination.
Nobody said there would be no disclosure of the travel expenditure info, but it just isn't going to be on the preferred timeline of the Dems for their true goals.

Considering the number of times they’ve been directly threatened, including recent statements by US Rep Omar that Iran should target Trump family properties, or statements by Senator Waters that they should be approached and harassed in public, including now known efforts to spy on and subvert his presidency, I don’t doubt their security is costly. Whose fault is that?

no, not in the slightest.
I would prefer that my elected leaders at least make a show of respecting the taxpayers that fund their reason for being.
I don’t spend any amount of time (that’s zero time) wishing or hoping for the next trump scandal. I have a life to lead and a business to run, both of which contribute relatively robustly to the federal treasury
and if y’all think for one second if he was spending remarkably less than the obamas did, that he wouldn’t be telling you all about it you aren’t paying attention
He took credit the other day for cancer rates FFS

That's swell, and I for one am with you on that being the preferred frame of mind. But I'm certain it hasn't slipped by you the fact that Congressional Democrats spend a whole lot of time and effort wishing and hoping and facilitating to the utmost extent possible "the next Trump scandal". I don't see how you can blame the guy for always being in defense mode over that reality. And again, they plainly said the info will be released.

I’ll agree with that and leave it with this.
it’s be nice if he’d get ahead of stuff like this and quit having to play defense
