Arriving at New Orleans airport 65 minutes before kick-off. Would normally expect to make it downtown within an hour but concerned about the added Trump security!

If you don’t have any checked bags to pickup and if your arrival isn’t delayed by Air Force One security and if you get a cab or Uber almost immediately out the terminal, you might make it by the end of the first quarter.

I flew in 2 weeks ago and customs only took 5 mins. Hoping it’s the same this time as not many international flights land then.
Plan to get Uber to take me a back route, probably via Earhart expressway and get dropped of within a mile of the Dome.

Since when are there direct flights from the UK to NOLA? People talking about customs, those would be cleared at the first port of entry into the US. Maybe they added a London to MSY flight and I’m just behind the times?
