I started LA Football with Lee Brecheen over 20 years ago.

So yeah...I trust what I see.

Then again I am no longer in the field so maybe I'm not so good after all.

Your one of the guys Ive trusted on here over the years. Doesn't mean we all don't disagree at times. Even the best are wrong sometimes just like us.

Did you and Lee go your separate ways because of your poor scouting? I mean...he's apparently still in business and you arent.

Keep trusting.

Some of our best corners have been under the radar guys who weren't highly rated. Flott and Ward last year are well liked by the staff. Jalen Mills, Mo Claiborne, Dwayne Thomas, Jonathan Zenon and some guy named tyrann come to mind.

No. My reasons for leaving had nothing to do with my "skills". As if lasting in the field is dependent on talent. If so M. Scarborough woulda been gone a long time ago.

I realized life is bigger than sports, and I have been a clinical psychologist for the past 20 years. Still enjoy following recruiting as a hobby. Don't have many connections anymore so I like to read the scuttlebutt on here.

As a final word on Lorando, I'm not sure what people have such a hard time accepting. I never called the kid garbage or not Division 1 or LSU material. Never said he would never see the field or never contribute. I just said he was a guy. The majority of Division 1 football players are guys. If it makes yall feel better I will take back "fill in".

If the kid ever earns a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd team All-SEC honors or makes a really big impact on the program I will be more than glad to eat crow! But first of all he has to make it in the class.

I don’t see lorando getting in tbh

Who do you see blocking his way in?

And more importantly, have you informed Coach O? I heard he’s not too busy right now, so it may be a good time to catch him.

My problem with you is we hear LSU is taking a kid and you jump on here and disrespect the kid. Shows me a lot about you! You either lack common sense or are just an a-hole. I have been around the game a while and never once met a reputable person that ever publicly disrespected kids trying to play ball. Not once! Things said in a room amongst coaches is one thing. Things said outside of a coaches group in any public platform is quite another.

Jalen Mills 2.0. Not that fast, not that big, just a football player.

Well said and I agree. Who the heck knows how good this kid could possibly be in 2-3 years! “Class filler” my arse!!!

He’s a composite top 20 corner. He’s probably not a guy that will contribute immediately but he’s a quality player.

Our recruiting is only going to get better. Considering we are DBU there will always be 5 star DB's coming our way.. If Johnson isnt going to contribute in year one or two then he is just a guy who never will contribute.

I don’t have a problem with anything you posted...you gave an honest assessment . He’s good enough to get a scholarship but still has a lot of work to do . The same people who are arguing with you won’t even remember this kids on the team this time next year

No one said the poster didn't give an honest accessment. What we said was he didn't have the ability to evaluate talent.

Yeah, and once you discover that it was ALWAYS an academic issue, both Johnson and LSU were in the right. LSU did NOT want Johnson to sign because they didn't want to potentially lose the use of a scholarship. Johnson "reopened his recruiting" because he wanted to ensure himself someone might sign him if the LSU deal fell through...he NEVER decommitted BTW so he didn't even break his verbal. You are going to see more of this due to the early signing period. Much harder to project the academics/test score of a guy in December than the following February which used to be the only signing period. Both LSU and Johnson did EXACTLY the right thing...no blame on either party. BTW, he wore "Tiger gloves" during his games so he was/is all LSU.

Dude, is this your first day on the RB? Stuff like that happens here on the reg, like it or not. And honestly, Solo wasn’t bashing the kid or calling him names, he just offered his opinion. I’ve seen 10x worse on here. Relax.

Anyways, Bradford is on board regardless of what Lorando does. And if Lorando is a part of this class, it will be on his own merit. Their fortunes are not tied to each other.
