Alabama was a nightmare with Trump's extra security. What's you baw's thoughts on time. I was thinking 90 minutes but I'm hearing two hours or more to be safe?

2 hours. Gives you enough time to take in warm ups and the bands and all the pageantry.

I think they said the gates open @ 4? Get there at 4 and just enjoy the dome for a few hours. The players and personalities will be all over the place so just soak it all in.

was coming to start a thread on this same subject...

we have a driver dropping us off at noon (myself, wife and daughter) And picking us up at a preassigned location for a quick get-a-away after the game.

So the suggestion is--- get in line 1 1/2 to 2 hours before the game starts...

Any ideas on best gates....any other helpful information...that will make this shitshow---less shitty?

I'll be there early. But I'm an anxious kinda guy who also arrives to the airport way too early.

Would rather sit there and nurse a beer than stand in a long arse line.

For as much as the tickets cost, I'd want to be in my seat as long as they allowed me.

If you look like you’re from the Middle East, probably should get there a week or so ago, otherwise it may take some time to get through security.

I got to Bama game 2 hrs before. His entourage was right behind us coming thru. Get there early and you should be fine.

My plan is to arrive at the gate no later than 4:45. Tailgating is fun, but this is the one game you want to be in early for the atmosphere and pomp and circumstance.

Clemson fan here, i would say the 1.5-2 hours. Getting in is worth it. As you all know, the build up to these games is amazing and the electricity in the building will be awesome. Plus can drink beer
