I went from 90-94. I think I had a lab during a home day game. I looked forward to lab.

LSU will not cancel classes for the National Championship
It won’t be officially closed but instructors have been told they can cancel at their discretion
Seems to be a good choice considering the vast majority of students, staff, and faculty won’t be at the actual game

It’s the first day of school. What are you going to miss?

What's really funny is that State Employees in Baton Rouge are off because of Inauguration Day.

FYI, game is at night. Go to class. I’m sure the evening professors will cancel class on their own.

Is work cancelled?
Chemical plants, refineries, hospitals closed?
LSU should prepare students for the real world.

I scheduled drug tests on the 14th for all my office then took a vacation day for myself.

I would have just scheduled my entire spring semester around this game, and then still skipped most of the classes.
College students might as well be daycare inhabitants these days. Whiny fricks.

If I was a professor I would take an automatic letter grade away from any student who misses class that day.

The "people with jobs" argument is really weak. The first day is "syllabus and goodbye" in almost any class. I think the university's academic credibility will be just fine if they spend the first 10 minutes of class #2 going over the syllabus instead. Just a moronic call by the administration.

How dare they not cancel a class that you are paying for to attend!
