I've got one too. It beats paying $250 for an in-cabin pet, and I don't have to stow him.

You should kys for not being as smart as us.

ETA: If they close the loophole, I'll still pay to travel with him, because he's our pal and he goes everywhere with us. But until they close the loophole, come fight me

Normally good words to live by but the other day when I was going into Lowes with my daughter this woman who was not blind or handicapped in any noticeable way had a dog on a leash which was barking and trying to attack every person it saw and she was attempting to calm it down. I judged the f out of her for bringing that animal into Lowes. It was not trained, not obedient and not serving any capacity other than stupid pet being brought into a store for no reason.

you know there are lots of stores out there now that are pet-friendly regardless of service certification? I bring my dog with me tons of places, not because I need support, but because he's young and I want him exposed to as many socialization situations as I can. He's almost always very well behaved and in the event that something startles him or he gets uncomfortable, I just take him outside. The next time you see someone with their pet out and about just talk to them, they're probably just training and would love to let their pet meet you.

About how cool that dog is. I don’t really care enough to concern myself with the owner.

Pretty sure the only service she provides for you is licking peanut butter off your tiny dick.

Which makes sense with why you are obsessed with her. Since women have totally rejected you, you compensate by getting a dog to put up with your bullshite.

Saw someone today in a restaurant with an emotional support animal. I mean how is that not a health code violation

I agree that in some cases service animals can be a scam.. But would you like for me to clue you into an even bigger scam? Most hotels charge at least a $100 pet fee for you to stay there with your dog.. in most cases, the fee applies whether it’s for one night, or for two weeks.. i’ll be got dammed if i’m gonna pay $100 extra every time i stay a night in a hotel, so in order to ‘fight fire with fire’, i went ahead and registered my dog as a service animal.

I’m not the type of Ahole who’s going to bring my dog into dinner at Commander’s Palace, or even bring them to a friend’s home without being invited- but in the event i have to evacuate for a hurricane or somehting similar , it’s nice to know i cant be turned away from any hotel that’s available.

That's fine and everything but not everyone is a pet lover and when I go to a store I don't really want to worry about being bitten or attacked by a dog. I get that Lowes may allow it but it just seems like a hassle for everyone involved unnecessarily.

A service animal is one that has been specially trained to assist with some disability or medical issue. A doctor’s letter doesn’t make an animal into a service animal.

You are talking about the ADA definition of service animal. The ADA does not apply to commercial air travel, the Air Carrier Access Act is the federal disability rights law that applies and its definition of service animal is different. Under it ESAs are service animals.

"Service Animal Any animal that is individually trained or able to provide assistance to a qualified person with a disability; or any animal shown by documentation to be necessary for the emotional well being of a passenger."

If it is a blind guy being led by a dog, fine. All the other stuff is B.S. And most of the time it is a blank vest that was purchased on amazon. Grow up weirdos.

It has Pit Bull Paradise, New Iberia Chapter on the back and 1% on the front breast pocket
