How did Mr. Young "The Heisman Finalist" do vs. Clemson last game.
Not so well. In fact he really wasn't a major factor like he'd hope to be.

While I agree with you, have you considered the fact that it’s easier to rack up stats against weaker teams all year than in the SEC?
jesus!
we play in the SEC, not the fricking NFL.
let’s not be those mouth breathers that thinks teams like Vandy would dominate the Big Ten.
And actually it would theoretically be easier to rack up sack numbers in a league that is extremely pass happy. Like the Big XII. Rather than a conference like the Big Ten where they do not pass nearly as much.
Trivia for you, the Big Ten attempted fewer passes than any other Power 5 conference (per team basis).
Therefore there are fewer opportunities to register a sack.

What about if they had as many starters miss games as we did?
do you actually know how many games any of their starters missed?
serious question, because other than Young’s two game suspension, i do not know how many of their starters missed games.

The truth is, we have no idea who's better because the level of competition isn't the same, so for some asshat like Thamel to say LSU D isn't comparable to Ohio St is laughable and based on nothing but conjecture.
it is conjecture because we actual have no like opponents.
but it’s conjecture based off of the information available to us.
and if you look at that info objectively, Ohio State’s D-Line beats ours out in pretty much every measurable category.

great WR's (less quick but more physical than Bama's)
Didn’t their top two WR barely make it through the OSU game?

Johnny Unitas was a fifth year senior until he finally started mid season after 1st team qb got hurt. The NFL initially laughed at him.
Michael Jordan actually sat on the bench in high school at some point.
Joe Burreaux was scouted by one D1 school which sat him on the bench. He was not good enough to start.
Should I go on.
People just have blinders on.

Because the vast majority of America believes LSU is going to roll the frick out of Clemson. They have to try and “make it interesting” leading up to this game to make sure people watch.

And Oklahoma is angry .. blah blah blah
Clemson has 3 white boys on D at the same time ... you can't cover our skill players with that BS.

I just hate dumb analysis.
Yes...Ohio State has a better dl than us. So what?
Clemsons DL is maybe better...maybe not.
Those aren’t the questions though. The question is HOW can Clemson stop LSUs offense when nobody else has been able to?
I think Clemson is kinda similar to UGA defensively...good secondary...good dline...don’t get a ton of sacks but don’t give up a lot points. Really good at stopping the run.

Here are the facts, Jack. In the last three games, Clemson allowed on average 359 yards of total offense. While LSU allowed on average just 259 yards of total offense and the three teams LSU defeated or better than the three teams Clemson Cupcake University just beat.
Meanwhile, LSU has the better offense. As not only does LSU have the best offensive numbers in the country, those numbers were accumulated against a schedule that included six AP Top Ten teams, which includes 3 Top Five teams at the time LSU beat them.
While Clemson's offensive numbers look pretty good too. However, they look far less good once you realize the fact that their offensive numbers were accumulated against all cupcake teams like Wofford.
Not to mention that against our only common opponent, which is Texas A&M, Clemson beat them 24 to 10, allowed 289 yards of total offense while gaining 389 yards of total offense on them. While LSU, on the other hand, beat A&M 55 to 7, allowed only 169 total yards of offense and generated 553 total yards on them.
Hence, if LSU loses this game, it won't be because Clemson has the better team. It will be because LSU chokes like Ohio State did against Clemson. However, I don't foresee that happening. As I see LSU winning this title game with relative ease.

Still waiting for Pete Thamel to produce his copy of the FBI wiretap implicating Will Wade...

These "professionals" most all say that Vanderbilt pasted 38 points on our defense . . .
Nuff said.

Wasn’t Thamel the POS harassing honey badger’s family. He will always be an LSU hater so I take his analysis regarding anything involving LSU with a grain of salt.

Or the fact that we give up a lot of passing yards because teams are always trying to catch up?
He literally referenced this in his discussion today. He said that LSU had gotten far ahead of it's opponents so teams were forced to throw more.

Pete Thamel has put out multiple hit pieces on LSU throughout the years.
He has an ax to grind against us.
