To be fair, they lost 51-17 to FSU as a home favorite the very next season. We didn't totally cure them of Clemsoning.

Even if you smoke us it can’t be counted is Clemsoning . That term was phrased for us losing to opponents we were heavy favorites against . It has been a long time since we dumped a game . Just a little history lesson

Does your history lesson not go back prior to 9/28/2019? Yes, y’all ended up winning, but boy, that was a pube shy of Clemsoning that big, bad Tar Heel team.

I thought it was more that they would underachieve. They would have teams with several NFL players, start of ranked high and finish 9-3, 8-4
