Coldest Temperature You Have Encountered?

I hit my new record this morning with minus 13 degrees. It was minus 11 yesterday and I was still able to get out and about. I wanted to test some gear to get an idea of how well it worked at keeping me warm so I went and did some trail maintenance a few miles down the trail (removing limbs broken in our last snow storm).
So far the only issue I've had is finding mittens that keep my hands warm when out on the atv. I used to bike alot in what I thought was cold weather and lobster gloves always worked. Most people here wear beaver mittens over their gloves during the winter. A few more days and I will officially be a resident of Alaska and can start trapping. I think in April you can shoot beavers with a trapper license so I am hoping to get a couple to make my own mittens.

I think I could manage the cold, but no daylight would be a deal killer for me. We still manage to get about 6 hours of daylight at least.
