Targeting Lamb in slot against Kary

If we double up to help #5, look for Jalen to run even more than usual.
Do we spy Jalen with Jacoby3?

Kary Vincent will do fine.

I’m not sure how you say this confidently man... he’s the weakest part of our D...

Yep.
Lamb in the slot would likely put Delpit more than Kary. And honestly, Kary being matched up isn’t all that terrible. His speed will make up for softer coverage skills against Lamb. It’s not an ideal matchup, but definitely one we can live with 5-6 times in the game.

He's played much better toward the end of the season.

Lamb is a really good player. He'll get his targets and catches. The key will be tackling in space and preventing the YAC.

i say put Stingley on him and nobody else....no matter what position Stingley gets him man on man all game

I think Vincent will be manageable. I don’t think he completely shuts down lamb because lamb is a damn good player, but I think if he limits the YAC, we’re fine. I look for jacoby to spy but for first 1-2 seconds after the snap for him to be shading the middle for any slant routes.

^ honestly this. Why even entertain the thought of not putting our best cover guy on their best player

Stingley is better on the boundary
No reason to change what is working
Vincent is better than people think

Probably. Hurts is a walking, breathing pic machine though. And this secondary has proven itself to be opportunistic. Expect Vincent, Fulton, Stevens, delpit, and stingley to get a couple tomorrow.

He absolutely did but that is a hard pill to swallow for most on this site.

Taking people out of position is a great way to lose a football game.
So you want Vincent to play the outside? Two guys out of position, not a good idea.

Fulton said he’ll get covered by whoever he lines up on. They aren’t shadowing him.

No matter who covers him, we must tackle him after he makes a catch. Tackling will be particularly critical in this game.

That’s what DBU does

Ppl once again forgetting Fulton is also a baller

This ...
Three picks and 1 fumble

Fulton is better than stingley, right now. There is a reason teams keep targeting stingley even after it’s a proven shitty idea.

LSU has to hope Jalen is off with his throwing accuracy much like LSU did against Georgia.
That first Georgia drive, the WR were open and had a few bad drops. After that though, the Defense settled in.
