H. L. Bourgeois. Mohammed Ali came and visited. Flirted with the HS girls and did the Ali shuffle with the principal.

laughable

The 2nd time, in EDW, y’all didn’t get a first down in the 2nd half, on a dry field in your own house.

Lol what happened the next year? Clear cool night great conditions- home playoff game for ED White. Parkview rolls in and embarrasses them in a 48-6 victory.

[quote]John Ehret in Marrero. We were good for a huge fight/lock-down every few months. Craziest thing was this Asian dude who killed himself in the school parking lot after going on a crime-spree (assault/armed robbery/carjacking). Also, an ex-principal killed herself a year later after she was caught stealing fundraising money.

That Ex-principal was the mom of one of my classmates at John Curtis. Sadly he just passed from cancer about a month ago.

John Curtis 97
We were both on the State Championship baseball team, beat Weylan Guidry (Hahnville-LSU), Billy Brian (Mandeville-LSU), Mike Fontenot (Salmen-LSU) and a nationally ranked Rummel team on the way. Only lost 4 games, one was to St. Paul with Andy Canizarro at SS.

Note to self. Dont talk shite to Mr Clean.

I went to high school in Colorado. Our defensive line coach was arrested for accepting a package of cocaine from UPS. Very scandalous.

Patterson High 2009-2013

Involved in Football, Track, and Cross Country

What was the most memorable thing that happen?

From a personal accomplishment standpoint earning all state in track and cross my senior year.

Outside of that being on the team that made a state title in 2010 was fun. I sucked at football so I didn't play but it was just fun being out there in the dome.

On a cheesy standpoint the relationships were great. We were a smaller school so we were all really tight knit.

Katrina happened, which resulted in a guy from Brother Martin making us great in basketball again after winning the state title in 2003. Came up short in the title game to John Ehret...still can’t break free from the memories of Randy Verdin hitting threes from the left or right wing

You know they made a movie about this called "Hurricane Season?"

You really are right- that 4th and short stop was yuge.

Also, 09 at Patterson, y’all quit running Hilliard in the 4th qtr... no idea why. He tore us apart in 09 in the quarterfinals.
