Is there any credit that Woodward deserves for this season. I know he came in April 2019 so the effect he has had on the program can’t be that substantial.

That being said, I can’t help but think that if Alleva was still AD, he would have found some way to screw up this season.

I mean, he hasn’t done anything really of note yet. It’s hard to give him credit for someone he didn’t hire.

Only thing maybe he helped with was allowing O to pick the games that our players had to sit out for suspension. Not sure if that was Woodward’s call though

If Woodward is doing his job well, then he should never be the center of conversation. This seasons success belongs to Orgeron, his staff and his players.

Woody will ensure that O has everything he needs to maintain success, that's about all that needs to be said.

This time a million. If the AD is good at his job, you barely even know he's there unless there's a major hire to be made.

Hopefully Scott is cracking skulls in the compliance office and he needs to rectify the stipend allotment for LSU athletes. We are disproportionately low compared to some of the other schools.

Anyone else worried that he left a train wreck in Collie Station? Overpaid Jimbo and hired Buzz for basketball and that thing is in the toilet.

LSU BOS would have never agreed to pay Jimbo that amount of money fully guaranteed. They have already seen a former NC winning coach with a huge buyout fizzle out. Jimbo’s record in a much weaker conference is more like Les than people realize because they are blinded by the QB’s he has put in the NFL.

Maybe he was playing chess while aTm was playing checkers and he was hoping he would come home some day. Weaken a division rival while waiting for your homecoming? Smart Woodward, way to go.

He’s like the long snapper. Don’t need to mention him unless he does something stupid.

Zero. To this point all he’s proven to me is he can overpay with the best of them. He’s got lots of ways he can make his mark . Jury still out for me.

One thing for sure-we don’t want any coach to have a contract like the one Woodward gave Fisher. It’s looking more and more like A&M is going to be a disaster-and it is going to cost them a shite ton of money if they want out.

It won’t be a disaster but it will never be worth 75 million dollars guaranteed. Unless you hiring 2009 Nick Saban no one is going to live up to that contract.

While you’re right, we don’t really know what goes on behind the scenes. A good leader can have a profound impact on the morale of an organization. The opposite is true, as well. That can reflect in the performance of said organization. It’s just hard to say since we just don’t know what goes on day-to-day in the AD. As fans, we will only notice the most obvious stuff.

No meetings with AD, HC and coordinators is a plus. Joe Allen’s thought too much of himself.

Woodward is awesome.

As others have said, Woodward not being in the spotlight is a good thing. I do credit Woodward for being proactive with Joe Brady, and making sure LSU doesn't get caught flat-footed when other schools show interest in him.

Rumor has it he has 4 balls. That explains his Uber confidence. Furthermore, rumor has it his nuts form a 4-leaf clover orientation too, thus great luck. There ya go.
