That is good to hear Toddy. I hope that deep down inside you know that most of us who don’t vote for progressives couldn’t give a damn if you are gay. There will always be a hateful fringe on ( both Right leaning and left leaning)that we all have to ignore, but not silence. I am glad to know that you will be more of a cautious ally rather than a full fledged progressive.

Well said. Man I tried for years to hold on. But I see what’s coming up and I want nothing to do with it.
Sounds like you are wrestling with the idea to leave too. Trust me, there is a peace that comes from looking yourself in the mirror and knowing you did the right thing. I may never work in politics/govt again, but I am staying true to my principles.

I used to contribute here majorly back in my College Ron Paul or die days. Being near 30 I've changed a bit. I've mainly lurked for years now. Just wanted to say if someone like Toddy can see it, then DAMN. Proud of you man. We don't have to agree on everything, to agree the the far left is absolutely WHACKERDOODLE.

You should check out the Walk Away channel and videos on YouTube. It was started by Brandon Straka, a gay man who was a liberal and voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016. He eventually became disillusioned with the Democrat Party and started a movement to get other members of various Democrat voting blocks (GLBQ, African-Americans, Latino-Americans, etc.) to follow. He is not necessarily campaigning for Trump but he has become completely disillusioned with the Democrat Party, the direction their party has turned, and the propaganda spewed by their media. In response the Democrat Party started a propaganda campaign claiming his Walk Away videos were the product of Russian bots and Antifa has demonstrated and protested at events he has held.
