Good that Oregon beat Utah. Who wants to see Utah in the playoffs? Nobody. For the longest this year, LSU, Bama, Clemson, Ohio State and Oklahoma have been the 5 best teams this year. One couldnt make it.
If Oklahoma beats Baylor tomm., we will have the 4 best teams in the playoff. The way it should be. Tired of certain teams backing in bc of a weak schedule or weak conference. 4 teams and 1 loss amongst them, means this is the best 4 teams in the nation. No argument. Bama shite the bed against Auburn and the eye test tells me that Oklahoma probably would edge them this year as well or it would be a toss up at best.
And wouldnt it add to Saban's misery that the QB that left, J. Hurts, still ended up leading a team into the playoffs?
You have the golden boy (T. Lawrence), the forgotten castoff (J. Burrow), the jilted champion (J. Hurts) and the impatient star (J. Fields), all of whom are vying for a championship in a historical year for QB's....
This is gonna be a CFP to remember for years to come.

Utah’s offensive line was horrific. They were man handled all night.

Pretty sure he was talking about Utah.

I'd MUCH rather play OU than Clemson. If we can't beat this hurts led OU team, we don't deserve to advance. Look at their schedule and all the close games against weak teams. We know how to play hurts.
Something tells me though that the committee doesn't want their beloved Ohio State going against Clemson first round. I don't think they want a regional final and Clemson will likely beat Ohio.

You clearly haven't watched OU and are just talking out your arse. They have looked like dog shite, along with hurts, down the stretch.

Any team that can hang with this year’s Auburn squad for four quarters is pretty stout.
Ducks are comin’ back!

Best case scenario as in if LSU happens to lose they still make the play offs
Ironically, they would also avoid Clemson in the semis, and would get OSU back in Atlanta!

they play literally no one all season long.
I think you mean “figuratively”.
People need to stop using that L word all day long.

You should listen to a group of high school or college kids having a group discussion. You’ll hear it 50 times in 10 minutes.

Let’s not forget, ESPN has been calling Utah a “complete team” as well.

Against a very pedestrian Utah team yes. Even then, Utah moved the ball on them at will.
Was I the only person who thought the players on the field last night looked a lot smaller and slower than what we will see today?
Their top guys may have been as fast but the quality drops quickly.

Both those teams would be butt raped by Ohio St. LSU or Clemson.
Not even close.
