It’s embarrassing we have to share oxygen, much less a country with liars like vor and mm
The problem, is that they've given up on policy debates, and it's all in on "muh impeachment". Impeachment isn't a fun debate, because it's easy for us. It's too easy. No one enjoys debating a topic they know they've won, and that their opponent knows they lost. MM and VOR are just repeating the same liberal talking points, but they know they dont' have anything. That's why they've never been able to provide a spec of evidence. All they provide is information that has been disproven multile times, and that was used to embarrass the Dems on national news.
If they had any evidence, they'd simply post it. But they don't.

1 and 2 are both evidence. Trump is more than welcome to offer testimony otherwise.
No, they're not. And for the zillionth damn time, it is up to the prosecution to prove guilt, not Trump to prove innocence.

Oh look, yet another "presume".

Sondland admitted to what he said because he initially didn't "recall" it yet other people heard him. His explanation that it wasn't an order is not credible.
You didn't watch the hearings.

No, it wasn't. You also didn't read the transcript.
Let me give you some advice: Read primary source material and stop relying on talking points from social media.
It will save you some embarrassment.

Reporter (M): (21:27)
So the demand for an investigation into the Democrats was part of the reason that he ordered to withhold funding to Ukraine?
Mick Mulvaney: (21:34)
The look back to what happened in 2016 certainly was part of the thing that he was worried about in corruption with that nation. And that is absolutely appropriate.
Reporter (M): (21:42)
Withholding the funding?
Mick Mulvaney: (21:43)
Yeah.
It's pretty transparent that Trump was withholding aid to ensure Ukraine wasn't corrupt. He's been doing that for every country. IT's one of his policies on accountability with countries we give foreign aid to. Is that an issue for you?

Sondland was asked if any person on earth had first hand knowledge of a quid pro quo. Do you remember his response?

Please post this part of the transcript.

Tell that to GumboPot and the other swamp posters. They are denying even that basic fact.

How do you defend against something that's not evidence of any wrongdoing on your part?

I know. Did you read it?

Please point out there part where Trump said "you'll have to do us a favor" in return for the javelins and military aid.
At least you've admitted not to have listened to the hearings or read the transcript.

No, he's not. He is "withholding" funds to ensure foreign countries are not participating in illegal or corrupt ventures with said foreign aid. You are trying to tie into "Trump withheld the aid for a quid pro quo with Ukraine" which is not what happened. Don't come in here hoping to "agree with me" to then take that and twist it into your little liberal "muh ukraine" circle jerk.
YOU HAVE NOTHING. Provide factual evidence of criminal wrongdoing by Trump. I'm still waiting.

Not to mention, withholding aid as a demand that they look into corruption is frickING NORMAL and it takes a liberal to think that they are immune to being looked at for corruption by anyone other than another liberal.
That's the silly part. Using liberal logic on this, simply opposing Trump renders you immune to investigation.
Absurdity.

Well, and just as a point of process.
If the cops investigate me and their case is shite, but I know they're going to charge me anyway..........I don't let THEM know how I plan to defend myself on the case.
I wait for the actual trial and kick them in the teeth.
Why on Earth would Trump even attempt to "defend" himself to a Kangaroo court when, whether they like it or not, that court has to turn over the case to people who CAN'T control his cross examinations?

This is not a legal proceeding.
You're right. Legal proceedings allow the accused to bring forth their own witness, and allows the defense to question the prosecutions witness. It's the cornerstone of our legal system. I wonder why the left has denied this?
quote:
However even in a legal proceeding the defense offers up a "defense". Trump has none.
He's not been allowed a defense. And as you said, this isn't a legal proceeding, so he's not required to provide one anyway. However, even give all the restraints Schiff and Nadler and the dems have put on the Republicans from seeing all of the prosecutions case, they have STILL embarrassed the dems. Even one of your own legal scholars embarrassed you yesterday.

In fact, it's very common for the defense to, when the prosecution rests, to simply announce that "defense rests" without calling a single witness or putting on any case whatsoever, if and when the defense determines that the prosecution failed to make a convincing case. The point is to refrain from unnecessarily complicating an already winning case. Not at all uncommon.

How many billions was it that homeboy Biden gave them hours before leaving for firing a prosecutor and bragging about it on camera?

You're missing the part where Trump says "or I can't sell you the Javelins"
You know, the actual quid pro quo part.

Don't get roped into this silliness
There's NOTHING WRONG with saying, "investigate this corruption or I ain't giving you aid"
That's what's absurd here. There's literally ZERO wrong with doing this

Of course there's not. That's not my point.
My point is that the "investigate this corruption or I ain't giving you aid" never happened, so the discussion of whether it is "wrong" or not is irrelevant.

Well yeah
But, if they're going to claim they can impeach him for something, pointing out that even their accusation isn't a big fricking deal is relevant.
Basically, this is like arresting someone for crossing the street AT THE CROSSWALK for "jaywalking". You just look at them and say, "um, it's legal to cross at a crosswalk dumb arse"
